Hey folks,

Sorry; I couldn't get an email through to you. I ordered the Curse of the Crimson Throne Limited edition hardcover and accidentally had you send it to my old address. They couldn't deliver it and sent it back to you. Can you re-send it to me? Hit me up for the new address.

Many thanks,

Kevin Wright

Has anyone created any campaign-specific character sheets? We are about to play Carrion Crown and I would love a sheet that is evocative of that AP (looks a bit gloomy and gothic-y).

If not, someone should definitely get on that. I'd pay a dollar or two for sheets that fit the APs I'm running or playing.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

The gaming community I'm involved in love the APs, but have yet to actually finish one. Due to the vagaries of life and the often-flaky nature of gamers, our campaigns tend to flame out before the PCs hit 10th level.
So, if you were using the modules or cannibalizing the AP adventures, which ones would you use to create a mini AP? They could be united by theme or location, but must cap out around 8th level (more or less) but must be easy to unite into one overall story.

What do you think?

I ordered it on Oct 31st.

Please cancel my Adventure Path subscription after Shadows of Gallowspire, before the Jade Regent begins.

Many thanks,

Kevin

Please cancel my subscription to the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game.

Dear Paizo guys -

My group and I are starting our new campaign Feb 26. We haven't been able to play regularly in over a year, and we're very stoked about it.

Although we have plenty of APs to choose from, we'd really like to play Carrion Crown. So, is there any way you can send the Haunting of Harrowstone to me about a month early? We'd greatly appreciate it.

Kev

:)

I know this is possible. I believe I've done it before, but now I just can't figure it out.

How does a fella change his avatar name?

So if one of the APs was novelized or made into a series of movies, which AP would you be most interested in reading/seeing?

I received an email regarding my subscription to the upcoming AP and realized that it is shipping to my old address. I corrected the address on my account, but I wondered if it is too late to ship it to the correct address.

So...is it?

Many thanks,

K.

I am trying to add a new address and credit card to my account and can't quite figure out how to do it. Could someone point me in the right direction?

Many thanks.

Looking at the NPCs from any of the APs, which would you be the most likely to play as a PC? Or, which NPC most resembles a character that you would make?

Is there any way I can put my subscriptions on 'hold' for 2 months? I'll be moving around a bit and won't have a new address for awhile. Or do I just need to cancel them and then pick them back up?

Many thanks.

How cool is this?

Hey folks, I brushed up a couple of adventures that I made. If you get a chance, go to http://sites.google.com/site/incarlsbook/home, check them out, play them, and tell me what you think.

My players enjoyed them. I hope you do, too.

My players and I have come back to gaming after several years of absence; we haven't had a steady game going since the early 90s. Though several of us moved off to the four corners of the earth (Kuwait, Peru, Oklahoma, etc), we managed to get in the occasional game. It happened maybe once a year.

However, since we've all moved back a little closer to our roots, we started up a steady, fun, ongoing campaign. That hadn't happened since we played 2e. So, we found Pathfinder and dove into Curse of the Crimson Throne. The APs are magnificent and really help us keep our campaign together. Though we only get to play every 4-6 weeks, we love it.

However, since the majority of us haven't really played since 2e, the Pathfinder system seems mindbogglingly complex to many of my players. They are there to have fun, escape awhile, role play, etc. Not one of them is a rules lawyer in the slightest. They want to have some fun adventuring together and the rules are only seen as peripheral to that.

So the way it has played out it, as the GM, I am expected to know the rules enough so that we can function. Before every session, we have a review tutorial of things with which they are unfamiliar (CMD, CMB, DC checks, etc). It has worked out ok. I don't mind doing it, and as long as my players are having fun, I'm happy.

But we've hit a snag. Some of the other guys would like to GM (and I'd love the chance to play as a PC), but the ruleset is just too much for them to feel comfortable doing it. I struggle with it myself and it seems overwhelming to them.

So, to finally ask my question: have any of you experimented with a simplification of the rules? How would you go about doing that anyway? All the rules seem very pertinent and valuable, addressing so many of the game's concerns - where would you even begin to boil it down a bit? We'd love to play the APs and modules, but is there a simpler way to do it?

I appreciate any help I can get on this.

Has anyone heard anything about PFSS #45? I thought they were going to choose the new author by yesterday.

I was talking with Greg the other day about the real-world make-up of our respective parties and wondered what it was like for other groups.

So...what are the real-world occupations of the people with whom you game?

My party looks like this:

An attorney who plays a fighter/cleric
A librarian who plays a ranger
A cell-phone salesman who plays a cleric
A guy on disability who plays a fighter
and a mechanical engineer who plays a rogue
and a minister who masquerades as a GM

Quick question: how do you determine who can use a magical staff's powers?
