"Master Zell, if you are interested, I will present you with some information on Shobhads."

Keth's eye is replaced with an image of a horrific, four-armed beast. It stands as tall as two men and weilds a sword and a strange firearm.

"The fabled four-armed giants of Akiton are renowned across several worlds for their ferocity in battle. Most Shobhads are born and come of age in one of the fierce tribal clans known collectively as the Shobhad-neh. Whether with flashing swords and lances or the mysterious longrifles capable of picking off targets on faraway horizons, the clans of the Shobhad-neh vie constantly for resources in the hard deserts and mountains where they live. Typical shobhad warriors stand 12 feet tall and weigh 500 pounds."

"Right away, Lady Celia."

In an instant, Keth is gone. A few moments pass and Keth reappears with a bag attached to him. Inside the bag is one of the runic suits, helmet and all.

"The Mechanic mentioned to peer within the pockets."

After rummaging for a bit, they find within the pockets of the suit, another suit. They continued until they finally reached an empty pocket and had one complete suit for each of them.

"The Mechanic seemed quite amusued as he prepared the suits. He wished me to inform you of this."

"According to an initial scan of topography before our landing, we have arrived approximately one mile outside of the city of Qabarat, a major city of primarily lashunta population.

"A review of the ship reveals that we are mostly in need of metal to rework the hull and rebuild fuel lines. Nanites are able to fabricate such materials, but providing the materials or their equivalent ourselves would bypass the lengthy process."

"I cannot. Initial scans are unable to determine on a visual basis and the technology is incompatible with mine making me unable to determine through other means. Apologies."

"They appear to be stasis chambers of some sort. The creatures within are in a state of suspended animation and do not age in this state. Somehow, it seems that the creatures are acting as a power source to the chambers, thus how they are still active."

"I have no information on this craft or its design. I apologize."

What you can see from here shows the craft to about three times larger than even the largest galleon in Golarion. However, due to the missing section, it's only about two-thirds of it's full size.

"It appears there was some sort of collision, Lady Valai"

No magic auras, from your current distance. If you approach you may be able to detect something.

"Yes, the elves originally hailed from this planet. Along with lashunta, they are primary denizens of Castrovel."

"Castrovel. The Green. Size: Golarion equivalent. Mass: Golarion equivalent. Gravity: Golarion equivalent. Makeup: Abundant plant life and water sources. Atmosphere: breathable. Primary races: Elf, Lashunta."

Keth floated over.

"Lady Valai, if it is of any interest, there are a few notable locations and landmarks along our course. The next planet in the system is Castrovel, known as the Green. Also, between Aballon and Castrovel is—"

Keth shuts down. He crashes to the floor with a resounding clang. A moment later, he is active yet again.

"How can I help you Lady Valai?"

Keth strode over to a window and stared out at the stars.

"This is quite interesting," he said with the slightest enthusiasm.

"No, Miss Valai. I will refuse as that is the name I know. I will take that I was named after this technology and these people and not for any other malicious reasons. I have grown to like my name."

Had he arms, Keth would have crossed them, it seems.

"I am going to meet with a mechanic," replied the Kethan. "He will help prepare your transportation off this planet."

Keth flew before Valai.

"I can, but hes is angered whenever I do so. I have grown to fear ever attempting so without permission. However, if you request so, I will attemp to."

"No, Miss Valai, they are working more efficiently but without additional wear. Something in the area seems to have induced this."

You can still hear voices, Booker.

Skipping to morning. Nothing memorable will be happening.

Good morning to you. Reserves for the day are filled. The only detail of note is that the nanites in your suit appear to have increased activity by twenty-three percent during your rest.

"Due to a lack of atmosphere, air is minimial and insufficient to support your life. As for nutritional sustinence, you may recall that the active nanites in your suits will provide any nutrition necessary for survival."

There is enough wiggle room to pull out arms.

[b]"All is well, Lady Celia."[/ooc]

Keth was floating around, as if he was unaware in the shift of the room.

Sorry for delays again. Was hammering out details for work again. Just got a new job!

"The devices seem as if though they would recharge mechanical components."

No magical auras.

"They appear to be places of rest, Master Quentin."

"I am happy to help. It's my duty to answer the questions posed to me."

"Why would I be upset?"

"No, it's my duty to answer the questions posed to me."

"The main obelisk seems to be the cause. The shards appear inert."

"They appear to be doing better. Maintence routines are being handled in a prompt manner."

No magic auras in the room.

"Lady Valai, if I may? I have already taken the time to scan the object. While it does not appear harmful in any way, it does have various mechanical and technological components. Scans have yet to determine exactly the nature of these, but there is one matter of interest. The nanites that power the majority of the functions in your suits are reacting to the presence of this object. They seem to be completing their functions seventy-four percent more quickly than normal."

No other doors that can be immediately seen.

"I don't know. It could-" Keth seemed obviously confused.

Keth took a few minutes to scan and analyze the writing.

"It appears these writings detail the images that we can see here. It states they created a new means to travel the stars on their home planet and eventually found Aballon. Once here, they used the resources available to create the first few generations of Aballonians."

Keth continued scanning for a moment.

"They have signed this writing as beings from the planet Keth'Al- the Kethans."

Keth appeared at a loss for words.

"I-I really wouldn't know, Lady Valai." His voice sounded somewhat ashamed.

"The suits can communicate up to a range of 120 feet."

Booker: The only other thing you notice is that the breach at the bottom of the pit looks more like a doorway in the walls, than just a random hole. There seems to be some light coming from it. There doesn't seem to be any spot to tie the rope off immediately around you.

Marshall: You're climbing down just fine.

"Miss Valai, I probably could carry no more than a small child before I would become immobile." He shakes back and forth, almost mimicking someone shaking their head. "I don't I can help much with that." He turns to Booker. "However, your query..." A pair of lights on either side of Keth come on, as strong as any torch.

"Ha, ha!" Keth cheered out like a young boy who had just won a game. "That was marvelous!"

"Scans do not show any apparent weaknesses. I'm sorry I can't be of more help."

The Gunslinger's Called Shot ability is cool. I won't be using the additional Called Shot rules from UC, though.

Spoiler:

Hey, Einstein, I'm on your side!

"Senses would vary. Anything from optical sensors and magical sonar to more advanced technologies that we are not aware of."

"No, he's just-"

Keth shuts down and restarts as before.

"How can I help you Lady Valai?"

"Well, I'm-"

Keth shuts down and collapses to the ground. After a minute, he starts up and floats back up to his previous height.

"How can I help you Lady Valai?"

"I'll do my best to warn in time."

At the second inquiry, Keth turns lightly on his side, almost like a person's head would turn.

"Classify myself? What do you mean?"

"Yes, there appear to be signs of First One technology farther in the fields. It may be that the technology would enable us to leave this planet and continue our journey. As for the danger, scans also show other constructs in the area that could be potentially hostile. They appear to be a combination of Aballonian and First One technologies. Unfortunately, I know nothing about these beings and cannot guarantee their attitude towards outsiders."

He flies before Valai.

"Any other questions?"

"Of course, Lady Valai." Keth's voice, while still both childish and robotic, sounded now more human than mechanical. "There appears to be a ring of radiation from the center of the Fields of Justice. The type radiation is both unknown and also from an unknown source. In this area in the field, the radiation has decayed, presumably from lingering for years."

Keth turns back towards the ring of Aballonians.

"The radiation seems to be processed by the Aballonians in a manner that shuts down their circuitry. Also, any remaining energy in their body at the time is converted into this type of radiation and released as a final act. The ring around the field is self sustaining from the looks of it. It may be that all Aballonians are created in a method that incorporates this process as a sort of failsafe to prevent entrance into the deeper sections of the Fields."

I'm sad you don't care for me, Valai. :[

The Aballonian shook its head.

"No, I'm not going near there. Also, I need to return to my work." It skittered off.

Keth flew before Quentin.

"No current knowledge on the Fields of Judgement."

Valai wrote:
Also: Don't send the robot. I don't trust him and he's likely reporting everything we say and do to his mystery boss. >:-\

*robo-whistling*

You could send your best robot buddy?

"My energy was significantly depleted after the teleportation. The reserves will be restored to a standard amount soon, but teleportation will be unavailable for some time."

"As of the last scan taken before the teleport, population was approximately seventeen billion."

"The constructs are capable of intelligent speech, mostly in Common, though it is not their only means of communication. More intelligent ones are possibly reasoned with, if neccesary."

Nothing new with the perception checks, by the way.

"Initial responses determined to be indifferent. Purpose of the Automatrix is unknown."

Keth floated around in a somewhat groggy manner. It seemed the teleport took quite a bit of effort.

"Location: the Automatrix."

For the sake of progress Boodka, I will just assume you are ready to go as well.

Keth sat still for a moment. "No current strategies or weaknesses available." He then looked around at the group. "Lord Booker: ready. Lord Boodka: ready. Lord Entaro: ready. Lord Quentin: ready. Master William: ready." Keth's eye turned a deep black.

"Initiating planetary teleport..."

"Machine: an apparatus using or applying mechanical power to perform a particular task. Aballonians are a sentient race of machines and constructs capable of creating new machines of their kind, similar yet unlike to the reproduction of other organisms. Depending on needs, a new Aballonian will be created to fill a role, either one currently unfilled or left vacant by the destruction of a previous Aballonian. Other races on Aballon vary, mostly limited to minute organisms."

He turned to Booker. "Highly improbable." Then, his gaze shifted to Celia. "Lady Celia: ready." Finally, he rested on Quentin. "No means currently known for continuing travel."

You have all your stuff.

Keth turned to Entaro. "Aballon. The Horse. Size: one-third Golarion. Mass: one-twentieth Golarion. Gravity: one-third Golarion. Makeup: mostly iron, lead, and silicon. Atmosphere: negligible. Primary race: machine."

He then turned to Valai. "Lady Valai: ready."
