Background:
Keshik (Keshy to his friends) is the second-born son to his father. His elder brother Nahkriin fell out of favor at a young age when he became too much of a problem child. As Keshik grew up, his outgoing and friendly attitude earned him the respect of his peers and elders alike. As he became of age he finally asked a favor of the tribe. He wanted to go out to the lands owned by the humans and others, to see how they lived first-hand.

As much as he pushes negative thoughts out of his mind, the slow decay of the Lizardfolk was something Keshik was quite aware of. He hoped he could figure out a way to compromise between his peoples history, and the inevitable advances upon their territory. He ended up learning about a garrison at Lastwall, an area in conflict. After joining their ranks, he quickly found out the reason why most of the travelling merchants he saw gave him a wide berth, regardless of how widely he smiled. He was more than willing to break the ice with the other soldiers in the area, but he didn't seem to make much progress with them, either. His luck might change soon, however. Sir Dramott chose him to go with some of the other people his age to recover the Everflame, a time-honored tradition Keshik was excited to be a part of.

Personality and Appearance:

Keshik is a warm and kind sort. He believes it’s his duty as a Paladin to lead by example. To him this means being the first person to offer a helping hand to those who need it purely on principle. The first to show his enemies mercy. Not judging, but showing others the benefits of his way of life. Unfortunately, this comes with significant naivety, as he usually assumes most others will be willing to help him. He certainly seems to be far more aware of his situation than he lets on at times.

He always stood by his brother no matter what, and he’ll extend this solidarity to anyone he gets close to.

Keshik does not however, look the part. He stands roughly six and a half feet tall, and his reptilian visage makes it rare to see the many phases that exist between emotionless, and toothy. He’s working hard on it though, and at this point he can manage something approximating a warm smile. His dark green scales look almost brown in certain lights.
