Ezren has a power on his role Spell Sage that says "You may play 2 spells on a check; only 1 may determine the skill you use for the check."
I read that as you can say, play 2 combat spells, getting the bonus dice from each, but only get your arcane skill once.
There was some discussion in our group that it might mean that you can only play one spell that uses a skill, like a combat spell and a buff spell.
Does anyone know which is correct?
