About Kemuri Kunoichi
Description:
In her natural form Kemuri is an anthropomorphic female fox who stands 5'4" and weighs 110lbs. She has silver fur which darkens to
black towards the ends of her limbs and tail, which has a white tip. Her eyes are a vibrant amethyst. She generally prefers to stay in her
human form, rarely letting people know she is a Kitsune.
Her normal human form is that of an attractive young woman with long silver hair with black highlights and vibrant amethyst eyes. Her
features in this form are those common to Goka and the Tian Xia region, though her hair and eye color make her stand out against the
normal dark hair and eyes which are dominant there.
When she is relaxing in town, she prefers brightly colored clothing in the eastern styles of her home in Goka. She will often add
custom hidden pockedts and places to conceal small items.
When she is adventuring she prefers utlity over appearance, and tends to wear dark colored leather clothing and gear with plenty of
pockets, pouches, and places to store items.
Biography:
Kemuri was born in Goka, to a family of traveling Kitsune actors. As a young child she traveled from town to town with her family,
learning to act while using her natural shapeshifting abilities to assume different physical traits of the characters she was playing.
When she was 10, her family was traveling west by ship when a storm hit and capsized them. She drifted and swam alone for days
before being picked up by a passing merchant ship, which took her along to their next port.
She survived for a year or so on her own by using her acting and shapeshifting skills to con and steal enough to live on. Occasionally
she would stow away on a ship and move to the next port town. Eventually she ended up in Absalom, where she hooked up with a
gang of thieves, who quickly made use of her skills to help them steal from incoming merchant ships at the docks. They taught her how
to use a knife along with a number of other useful talents.
After several years living and working with the same group, her luck ran out and she was caught by a member of the Pathfinder
Society. He immediately recognized how valuable an agent she could be and recruited her to come work with the Pathfinders, which is
where she is today.
She agrees with the teaching and tenets of both Desna and Kofusachi, but does not actively worship any of the gods.
