Special Abilities

Smite Evil Once per day as a swift action, Kemset can choose one target in sight to smite. If it’s evil, she adds her Charisma bonus to her attack rolls and paladin level to damage rolls against it. If it’s an outsider with the evil subtype, an evil-aligned dragon, or an undead creature, the bonus on the damage roll on the first attack increases to 2 points per paladin level. The smite also bypasses the creature’s DR. Kemset also gains a deflection bonus to AC equal to her Charisma modifier against the target’s attacks. The smite lasts until the target is dead or Kemset rests and regains the use of this ability. If Kemset attempts to smite a nonevil creature, the smite is wasted.
Detect Evil As a standard action as often as she wants, Kemset can detect the presence of evil in a 60-foot cone.
Power Attack Before attacking, Kemset may choose to take a –1 penalty on all melee attack rolls and combat maneuver checks until her next turn and gain a +3 bonus on melee damage rolls.
Aura Kemset has an aura of good equal to her paladin level. It can be detected with the detect good spell.
Code of Conduct Paladins of Wadjet are stoic yet gentle defenders of the people, devoted especially to those living near rivers and other bodies of water. They are relentless in their crusade against Apep, the evil god of snakes and darkness. Their tenets include the following affirmations.
-The just and innocent are my wards. I will keep them safe and protected from evil to my last breath.
-There are those who cannot travel to find what they need. If I find myself lacking in just actions, I will journey and find those who need my help.
-I will offer my services to explorers, traders, and travelers who are unable to defend themselves. Their journeys aid us all.
-I never turn away those that seek my counsel. If I cannot aid, I will find one who can.
-Apep and his minions seek to destroy others. I am the only one who stands against his will. When I can, I will journey to cleanse his presence in this world.
-Water is life. I must protect the rivers and waters to keep them safe and pure for all, as even the pharaoh thirsts..
