That makes 2 graveknights, 1 vampire, 2 half-dragons and 1 half-succubus.
Question is, are the undead leaning towards evil or good, searching for their possible redemption?
My character atm is meant to be in a more good leaning group, trying to avoid catastrophes etc.
*Waves hand fanatically* ooo ooo ooo I'm currently working on a werekin is that a good fit for the group?

The UA I found references some addition for wizards and Warlocks... In my case I was looking at a Warlock pact from it. I made sure to go out and find the link for you... 30 might not be the code they use but the source I used has it marked as such... but I did the easy thing and found the page for you..
I was specifically thinking of The Raven, for a warlock build I have in mind... But after reading Baker's info on warlocks, I might be looking at one with a Undying Court patron.
Woah, and here Im about to pullout due not getting time over the weekend to get a character put together.... But to get in on a basic idea... Im impressed.
But I am going to pass, with some new time constraints I wouldn't be able to get the character done before next week. Thank you for the chance though.
Blacksmith by trade, Forj wishes to tame fire in an attempt to aid in his protection of the wilds. He's currently seeking out smiths to learn the trade. He is strongly influenced by the stories of Perrin hence is reason for learning smithing and wielding a hammer.
Should have a sheet up later tonight or this weekend.
@Phntm888
Hey Boss, maybe if were lucky we'll play a game together instead of you bossing me around in one :P.
Right now without access to the book itself (seems my copy may have wondered back to its owner :s) and limited knowledge from my remembering I'm debating two characters an Ogier or work towards 'Wolf Brother"... Perrin has always been my favorite character from that series and so has Loail.
One Dwarf Ranger or Hunter reporting for duty... or if I'm drunk during character creation (like usual). Then a rowdy drunken dwarf monk might be the true outcome.
Edited: Was trying to type this up and didn't notice your post. Just Pm me if any of these sounds good.
Aasimar 'holy fire' type:
You are a member of one of two organization (unless you can thing of another one that fits), depending on which one you decide to go with will dictate the overall adventure.
The Undying Court: You have been born among the elves of Aerenal, while you are considered to be an outsider, many of your family look at you as a sign of great tidings. With your families guidance you have joined the Deathguard and continue to follow its parth in destroying all Negative-Energy undead.
The adventure will include:
Battles against Karrnath
Hunting the cultist of both the Blood of Vol and the Order of the Emerald Claw
hunting necromancers
any mission assigned by the Undying Court
The Silver Flame: If you know anything about Eberron. The Silver Flame fight all evils they come across. Its just a matter of which group you feel a particular hatred for. I would start you off small, and see what group strikes your fancy and particular hatred.
If you want a Daelkyr Half-Blood, abberation hunter adventure I would likely modify a modules to have you seek out abberations and the cult of the Dragon Below. it would probably be some epic adventure were you would eventually fight a Daelkyr to save the world. I think for this one a Tristalt character would be in order.
What i would be looking in return is a good dungeon crawl or exploration type adventure set in Eberron as I would like to play a shifter or Warforged character
I'm willing to run one of those eberron games (half daelkyr) and your setting unsure assimar holy fire which I would easily be able to put into eberron or golarion.
As for a return game what are you comfortable with setting wise?
I think trading solo games is actually a lot of fun.
I think so too.
MonkeyGod I look for ward to your recruitment as I think I could handle 1 more game of playing and running if the group size isn't too big and solo swaping makes it ideal.
People will be happy to hear after much deliberation and no interest in a swap im going to start a 2-3 person gestalt eberron game. A full recruitment thread will be starting up in the next day or so. So keep an eye out.
Yes anything on that site is allowed, Psionics from Dreamscarred Press are allowed. When I make a decision I'll post a proper recruitment right now it's just an interest check.
I have some solo ideas too but I will talk about them later if that becomes the setting.
Given a Warforge's background, I think that would be the most challenging and rewarding race to play.
First I'm shocked, you didn't say you might be interested in a Solo Swap or I'm misreading your message....
I also find Warforged interesting since they are also a blank slate race, given that fact most are no more then 3-5 years old, their a constant reminder of a century of war and that they get to make up their personality as they go it really is a challenging but rewarding race... plus then there's all the old shenanigans the race had in 3.5....
Warforged Barbarian - Full plate adamantine armor at first level, plus not fatigue.... DOOM IS UPON YOU!!!! at least that's what I named the one I played..
As I'm still undecided, I'll probably take the weekend before posting my decision on whether I'm running a Sm group or solo. That said keep asking questions or suggests cause they do help
In that case, let me clarify my interest. I love Eberron as a setting. It has amazing flavour and offers interesting takes on old things we've grown accustomed to. That being said, such richness is also a challenge for creating adventures, and one that has not been well handled. Let me explain briefly what I mean.
Most adventures offered are about adventuring in the classical sense: some independent adventurers are approached for some kind of mission by a third party. This is usually ok, but Eberron characters are deeply entrenched in factions, a century of war, polarized faiths, and very different regionalisms. For example, say you have a party consisting of independently made characters. To push things a bit, say you have a bone knight, a Talenta dino rider, a Thrane paladin, and a Changeling Dark Lantern. Now, what kind of adventures would bring these together beyond the weak tavern in Sharn excuse? Each character is tied to a rich theme full of potential for fantastic tales, but together, the four characters just don't mesh.
This is true for all settings, but I find it's worse in Eberron, as there is more conflict embedded in the setting, and also because the adventures published have not addressed the problem. Paizo's APs have the advantage of telling you to a great extent what fits or does not fit, in terms of races, classes, and character themes. The set of compatible flavours are identified. Not so clearly for Eberron adventures, unless the DM does a bit of that.
Not that brief after all... I guess what I'm saying is that, should you wish to run these modules for a group, I would need clear elements of flavour and context to create a character that would tie to a group and a set of modules.
I hope this helps. I've run Eberron campaigns and Eberron characters, and this has...
You've hit the nail on the head, the thing I find with the mentioned adventures is that it introduces these various faction. Some briefly some reoccurring and I will keep that in mind with my planning for what ever I choose.
The things I would expand for character creation, would include nation of origin since that plays a strong part in the campaign setting and can help with some of the things you mentioned, nation pride has strong influence in this setting...example I know that a group with a Silverflame Paladin and a Karnathi Necromancer might work temporarily for a fight... they would be at odds immediately any other time.
This is also one of the reasons I plan to keep group numbers lower.
As I'm still undecided, I'll probably take the weekend before posting my decision on whether I'm running a Sm group or solo. That said keep asking questions or suggests cause they do help
Yes the system would be pathfinder just in the Eberron world, but I haven't decided whether I'm running a solo or small group game if I do run a game, my thread is only interest at this point.
Well from my interest page I've mentioned if I do this I'd be running an Eberron game, from what you've said I'd be interested in Rise of the Runelords or Jade Regent
Yes Psionics, is heavily involved in Eberron. There's a nation, people and tons of Monsters. It why I would be allowing complete Psionics the dreamscar press book of material.
As for the feat tax link for hero lab it's located on the webpage for feat tax, I believe it's even highlighted.
So based on what you posted now that I've looked it over sober. I can deffinatly agree to all of these:

*The exact AP has yet to be determined, but it is looking like Hell's Rebels, Jade Regent, or Rise of the Runelords.
Things I like in potential GMs
- Experienced and knowledgeable with Pathfinder
- Gestalt-friendly
- Good roleplaying
- Good plotcrafting
- More of a Rules As Intended person than a Rules As Written person
- Third party rule-friendliness *not a dealbreaker*
- Willingness to bend the rules when it makes sense. A past GM let me use my Cone of Cold underwater to freeze a group of evil mermaids solid in one game.
I'll be honest and say I have more interest in Jade regent or RotRl for pregen Ap.
As for the rest, I've been playing pathfinder since it started, so while I may not be completely up to date with mats (financial problem) I can usually find what I don't have but need.
Only time will tell for roleplaying and I have stumbled from time to time with plotcrafting but that's more from only running a couple games and why I want to practice with a solo or Sm group.
As for rules, I'm an avid believer in the rule of cool so that should cover most rule problems and like to run rules as how I view them not nessessarily how their written. But I do enjoy a good argument over rules and can be easily bent to new interpretations.
3rd party stuff im open for always.
And come on, it's a given cone of cold should always work underwater, see comment on rule of cool.
Seems like we have some discussing to do, PM and we'll see if we can really work together or if you want to go with one of the other guys I won't be hurt.... Much
@Joynt Jezebel Sorry, outside of occasions we're I watch the movies I'm not a fan of star wars, so I'd be running a pathfinder game.
@Kevin Dragonmarks are deffinatly in, it's a strong part of the world. As for the class while I don't have that book yet, I'm sure I can track down a copy or write up on the class, but since it's paizo it should be ok... Kinda like the shifter shifter idea in name at least.
@Sapiens I'd have to read up on it as I'm unfamiliar with spheres of power, but that doesn't mean I'm willing.
@eakratz What I meant was that if you search around there are several eberron/pathfinder conversions and the one linked too is the one I will be using to run the game... That said if you find one you like better and doesn't conflict with the provided rules then I might look at that one...
Side note about site, if you read into the site they omit or remove or change items. If you have the book or found reference to something and like the flare of the original item or want to use a feat, prestige class, etc. Then we'd figure something out.
@Vegabond? My mistake on not being clear on the Solo Swap, as cool as playing in eberron would be fun. I'm open for anything youd be comfortable running, be that an AP, homebrew etc.
So currently my RL group isn't interested in an Eberron game, which so happens to be my favorite setting. So I was wondering if there was a person or people who might be interested in one of 2 ideas.
1. Solo. I've seen a few people propose the idea of running an adventure for a solo player who is also running one for them. I like the idea but would have to see.
2. I would run an adventure for 2 or 3 people.
Either way the adventure would start with the 4 iconic adventures, The Forgotten Forge, Shadows of the Last War, Whispers of the Vampire's Blade and then Grasp of the Emerald claw.
From there I would see if people wanted to continue or not. If so I would continue with what ever the players have shenanigan'd up or a home campaign that was built to follow these adventures.
The Crunch I'm willing to run with (but I'm open to changes or additions):
Ability Scores: 25 Point Buy.
Races: I'm open to any as long as they have easy to read reference online if I don't have the book. With the exception of Warforged, Changelings, and Shifters I use the following site for their pathfinder conversions: HERE!
Classes: Any Paizo except Gunslingers (Bolt Ace is okay). 3rd party depending on material provided.
Skills: Background Skills would be used.
Feats: I will be using feat taxes, as described HERE! And Combat Stamina is free for Fighters.
Traits: Any two traits, plus a drawback for an extra one.
Deities: Prefer Eberron Deities which can be found at the site above. If you can give me a reason for another I might consider it.
Other Rules: I will be using Automatic Bonus Progression.
Just a reminder this is an interest check at this time and the basics for characters IF i choose to continue based on interest.
