"Well then, nice to meet you Mei. An Archivist? Do you intend to archive our travels or just help us make the crossing? He visably relaxed suddenly as if he studied the woman's soul and found it confortable enough.
"Are you one of those ninja's? I thought they wore a different get up, though i suppose in this weather something more weather proof is sound." He asked tilting his head slightly. He still wasnt sure he fully trusted these frozen shadows. But their grandmaster had seemed... on the up and up still. . . He paused and concentrated on the newcomer trying to sense if she was evil.
"I have a feeling Tanuak will not be happy to see us, since it appears if I am understanding it correctly, he sold his services to the Five Storms." He frowned slightly at that, he didnt like having an unknown ominous enemy. They would have to be warier than he preferred to be. Still if the spirits here werent much more help they would have to return to the village. "Has that friendly spirit fled? I...we need to know more of this Katiyana. I think that is what they said the demons name was." His eyes flashed a brighter blue when he mentioned the demon and his grip tightened on the blade Suishen for just a moment before his normally serene features returned.
He was caught up in the creatures whirlwind but only for a minute as Friday quickly ended things. Slighty dizzy and well aware his friends did take some measure of damage from the things he grasped the holy symbol of Shelyn and channeled positive energy.
"Is everyone okay?"
"Good.... ow." He started to call out before he had to grit his teeth from the force of the elementals blow. Who knew the air could hurt so much. He took a deep breath and focused slashing at the large elemental twice.

"Are you good Friday?" He asked the stalwart spearman even as he closed with the Large elemental harrying Kasha. Suishen's blade lit up with flames as he struck at the large elemental.
"You speak of instraments to undo the madness? Can you describe them for us? Do you have any ideas whom took the them?" He asked lending his voice to the discussion. He slowly eased the blade down so that it was apparent he wasnt here for violence.

I like this charector, but.... this game is kinda dying a slow death im afraid :( I would give it a go if everyone else if game of course.

Getting ready to open up a recruitment thread for 2 to 3 folk for a game of Kingmaker on Monday. The ruler role is reserved by a folk i am doing a trade with. Y'all are awesome so i thought I would give you heads up. Should have more information on it sometime this weekend. Y'all are awesome thought i would let you know. He frowned and glanced towards Kasha. Spirits were her department. It did however seem like this fellow was looking to butt heads and he wasnt sure he could fault her if she decided to butt back. "We have not been a problem to Iqaliat. Nor do we intend to be...so cease your goading. We are travelers and traders crossing over the spine. We stopped for a brief rest and to provide possible trade. Something that should be welcome to the folk that make Iqaliat home. I can't do much to make the spirits behave ...But I can help with almost any other beligerant." He paused and made sure his medallion of Shelyn was predominant and displayed. "I am a Shelynite I see the beauty in your lands that the spirits dwell in. Let us focus on how to enjoy that and not all this angry talk. Please." He finished simply trying to calm things down.
Without a word he turned his eyes narrowing. "Good, he's here, we don't have to look for him."
"Possession maybe?" He mused aloud with a frown, like Kasha his mind wandered through his collected knowledge of what may be the problem.
"Dragons are dangerous foes, no matter the type or the reason why they show up. I could not in good conscious leave you here to face it... but tell me more of your shamen troubles, tell me of this Tunuak?" He asked resting his hand on the hilt of Suishen. He wondered if the blade had tasted the blood of a dragon before.
" We would love to help with your difficulties if we are able Hearthmistress." He offered inclining his head as a show of respect for her authority.

"Are their troubles? While I cannot speak for the whole caravan, if there are troubles and I am able to provide aid and succor I will." He offered feeling a little bit more secure about the situation. He glanced back to the others for a moment. He pulled out his holy medallion and held it up for the guard to see. "I am a paladin and cleric of Shelyn. If you have sick I can try to heal them, if its problems that require a more.... aggresive approach i delt with those kinds as well." He couldnt help but frown slightly at the last part.
"Thats not a bad idea, we will set up outside your walls and the folk inside can come check out what we have."
He paused and took a few steps forward the paladin of Shelyn shaking his head slightly at a pretty silly question. A large caravan of wagons wasnt any cover for bandits or ne'er do wells that he had ever heard of. "Hail and well met friends, We are a road weary caravan traveling across the spine obviously, We have some goods and coin for trade, we wont be here too long." He called out to the man offering his best smile even from the distance.

what are the odds for having barbarian and ninja girlfriends? Why does that feel like it should be a harem anime? All we need now is like a samurai gal and maybe some form of priestess *lawls*

He smirked at the ninja leaving for a moment then sighed. He shouldn't not take joy at another's misfortune. He was better than that. Still the decision had been made. "Again, Qochi return to the city, go to the shrine and beg forgiveness serve penance. Your soul will thank you and perhaps a path to a truly righteous life will open itself to you!" He called after the slinker hoping he would see the wisdom in the aasimar's words... He didn't think he would though. Sheathing Suishen with a consoling pat for what the blade felt was a slight in the grandmaster asking for the seal and not the sword He turned to the others. "Her compassion is what makes her, well her. Her enemies will find that while she has compassion, those that protect her will do so regardless of it. Some will 'Because' of it." It was clear which sort of guardian he was. At least he thought it was. If she weren't as honorable or compassionate he would probably not be here. Well maybe, he was pretty enamored with Kelda. He wouldnt be surprised if he started a family with her, assuming she wanted a family? He frowned at something else besides ninjas for once.
"What would you and yours do if the heir returned and was making their way back to their homeland?" He asked still keeping his eyes focused on Qochi. One wrong move and he was a skewered pajama wearing honorless corpse.
He paused waiting to see if the sword would awaken again and start loudly declaring well... all the things it was usually crying out. He did like the feel of the blade in his hand, even if he was been using the glaive most of his adventuring life. "Can you tell us of your order and how all this came to be?" He asked next politely inclining his head to the master as a show of respect...though his blue eyes never once left the one called Qochi.
His eyes bore into the one called Qochi directly held for several long moments before he turned his attention to the supposed master. "The telling is a long one, but i will keep it brief. Your students attacked me and my friends at our inn. They were defeated. This monestary you speak off held an evil Oni named Kimandatsu. Please take note of the past tense." He paused as if remembering something, oh yes, the ninjas had claimed the grandmaster was loyal to Kimandatsu. He drew out Suishen slowly allowing the grandmaster to fully see the blade. He had a feeling this was going to head into a fight. "We are traveling across the spine and have no quarrel with you, our quarrel was with Kimandatsu who is finished." He did turn his gaze back to Qochi for a moment and simply said. "I believe we asked you to seek repentance at the temple. Your soul is still stained dark I don't believe you did that now did you?"

"It was a pleasure meeting you both, perhaps on our return journey we will have something else to show you!" He called out after the giant, very much pleased they had managed to avoid anyone getting smooshed. All sorts of carving ideas were running though his head now, and he had some bits of marble to practice on.
"The largest peice of wood I have to carve wouldnt be much larger than a foot long at best, Do you know of any felled trees or stumps of said tree's nearby? It might take some time with a larger peice of wood, but I would love to do what I could." He began smiling at the winter wolf. He knew they were said to be dangerous foes, but it was a formidible and beautiful beast none the less.
"Greetings friend, I am Kavell Speranta, Paladin and cleric of Shelyn. Seeing yourself and your friend there i believe has indeed inspired me. Not a sculpture or a grave marking but something I hope you find enjoyment in." He made a slow motion to the winter wolf. "Perhaps a carving of your friend there?"
"I've several carvings in wood that i've done with supplies to create much more when the goddess grants me her favor. He is a very skilled painter as well." He paused and looked back to make sure his friends and allies were prepared. "Tell me spirit, what sort of art do you prefer?
"Does this look like a caravan of looters? That is in poor taste, I am a paladin of Shelyn friend. Truly Spirits perhaps might not have a use for physical goods, but we have other things to offer as well, art, stories, and scripture. We intend to travel to the lands across the spine, our guide said this was a short cut." He added appearing not worried in the least.
He sighed and slightly smiled. He knew that spell. "The bellowing voice used a spell called ventriloquism to throw its voice, its near." He began calmly looking around.
"we are traders heading across the spine of the world to the other side, we mean you know harm, Show yourself perhaps we can do business." He proffered out, though his grip on his glaive tightened ever so slightly.

He moved about the caravan in the moment a light smile on his face and hummming. He had a good feeling about this trip, regardless of the possible dangers of the terrain. He would not grow complacent, but it seemed they had a good team to lead them through. He looked forward to finding Friday and leaning how to paint the night sky along the way. "You could travel with me some Xel, I have days and days worth of religious scripture to tell you about." He said with a smile.
He took a deep breath and merely held the barbarian woman close to his body gazing up at the sky. A lot of their previous trysts she had seemed the sort to well be provocative. This was slightly different of course. "I dont know, maybe. I do know that I love you so completely that sometimes my mind, my thougts get a little blurred. A gorgeous night, A gorgeous sky, a gorgeous lady..." He winked at her and grew silent just soaking in the moment.
It was a beauiful sight above, not anyone was really around, for once Kavell acted like a besot young man and not a proper paragon of virtue. "well i think we can at least match them in that love." He whispered in her ear with a grin as his hands moved in some very ungentlemanly places. In the morning he would see if he could speak with her parents on other things. In the morning of course. He intended to spend the night not worried about anything but the gorgeous woman in his arms.
Oh i have no doubts that something like that didnt happen, *lawls* it was more the going at it like snow bun buns that Kavell was sort of ...wait what? *lawls*
He couldnt help but smile, though she might not see it. "Well, I can and I just wanted you to know. We havent had any serious conversations about well us. Someday, gods above willing, I would love to raise children with you. I find myself thinking of you almost constantly I thought you should be aware." He grinned and continued to idly caress her cheek as he held her close. "F&$%ing like snow hares you say?"
He couldnt help it. He chuckled at the probable Blasphemy. At least he didnt recall any stories myths or legends about that. "That is a lot of passion to create such a wonderous sight. If that is how the lights were made I am not surprised they dont speak more of it at least in the temples were i learned and trained." He couldnt help but blush as he looked around the quiet dockside. He pulled the gorgeous warrior into a close embrace and nibbled at her neck. "Kelda I feel a fool for asking but, can you see yourself by my side til the sun dies and time has no meaning?"
He chuckled softly and shook his head to the side. "I do not unfortunately. I would love to hear it though." He reached forward and lightly caressed a strand of hair from the side of her face.
He smiled as he noticed his love wistfully staring up at the sky. It was certainly beautiful. Had he been a painter he would have wanted to paint this that was for sure. He would have to ask Friday for tips. "Kelda, love. The sky is so gorgeous tonight, you know the town, is there a place we could go to get a better view of it?" He asked slightly bouncing on the balls of his feet getting a feel for the weight of the armor.
