Also, what is stopping the witch from handing off the wand to another person (might require UMD) and then getting 2 healing shots off. One from you, another from Familiar?

The spell only works on your hexes, so if someone else uses the wand it would only apply to their hexes not your's.

I always love the ring of the sophisticate.

Its so bizarrely useful.

Lost in the desert, no map, no civilization around. As long as its within 20 miles of you..

You know precisely which way to walk, and how far to the nearest place to get drinks. Although the ring won't notice oases, just taverns and the like.

Its just plain fun elsewise.

This is by far and away my favorite ring as well. Bonuses to sense motive and knowledge (local). AND locate creature/object once a day.

Every booze-hound character I make strives for one of these.

Does anyone know of a magic item that gives a +1 luck bonus to saves ONLY? I know theres a really expensive 10k gp item that gives +1 luck bonus to saves, skill checks and ability checks, but thats a tad expensive...

Preferably not a ioun stone (as it attracts attention).

Headband of Fortune's Favor does that.

Yeah this is for sure going on my level 1 wizard, so he can get a total of 8 skill ranks per level total.

It's best just to take toughness at first, you can get one skill point with your favorite class or one hit point. Fast learner lets you get both one skill point and one hit point, toughness gives you three hit points at level one and one more at fourth and each level there after, and you can still grab the skill point from your favorite class. If you want more hit points take Fast learner after toughness.

I've found a progression of feats I like, and a "combat theme" for a fighter. This is a character who's going to spend gold like water on things like Winged Boots and other things of a "mythological" bent.

What I'm trying to figure out is where they come from on Golarion, or what their background would be to justify this kind of focus.

Here's the build, the class is fighter, the race is human. Havn't locked in the fighter feats at 9th or 12th.

STR 14+2, DEX 13, CON 14, INT 12, WIS 12, CHA 13 (Human)

1T Theoretical Magician (Spellcraft as class skill)
1T Defender of the Society (+1 AC if in Medium or Heavy armor).

1H Step Up
1F Following Step
1G Skill Focus (Knowledge Nature)

Also if you are determined to take skill focus at level one why not try the human swap out Focused Study? It takes your human bonus feat and gives Skill Focus at 1st, 8th, and 16th levels.

Ok so this toon has been running around my head for 2 weeks now. A TWF knife master(rogue archetype) he would use one knife and a whip. Using the whip he trips them and if successful stabs the crap outta them since they have been tripped they are denied there dex meaning they can take backstab dam straight to the face! And once I get greater trip them falling incurs attacks of opportunity which means more backstabs from me.

Tell me am i on the right track or am i far off base on my understanding please cause i cant get this idea out of my head!

Being prone doesn't deny dex bonus to AC, it just gives -4 to AC so no sneak attack.

Also without the feat Whip Mastery attacking with a whip provokes attacks of oppotunity.
