About Ka'nath

Background
Still young for his species and just barely into adulthood, Ka'nath has still seen the Rise and Fall of the Empire, although he managed to miss the invasion of the Yuuzhan Vong due to a forced Hibernation.
He has awakened as the Galaxy is pulling itself back together and is eager to find his place in this newly formed Galactic Alliance.

Appearance
Standing over 7 feet tall, Ka'nath is an imposing sight in his red and silver armour. His skin is a dusky red colour and his eyes are a smouldering orange. His mandibles are the same colour as his skin, except they darken to a charcoal grey as they near the tips, a very uncommon sight amongst his people.
Not as bulky as most of his species, he is still nonetheless quite hardy and one can tell that his wiry frame is in peak physical condition.
A polished pistol is holsterd at his right hip, and a squat flamethrower is slung over his back.

Gen'Dai Species Traits

Size: Large (-1 Size Penalty to Reflex Defence. -5 Size Penalty on Stealth Checks. +5 Size Bonus to Damage Threshold.
Lifting and Carrying capacities are double those of a medium character.
Speed: Base Speed is 8 squares
Gen'Dai Surge: Whenever a Gen'Dai takes it's second wind, it regains 5 hit points every round at the end of it's turn until it is killed, until the end of the encounter, or until reaching one-half hit points (whichever comes first).
Hibernation: A Gen'Dai can enter a state similar to a hibernation trance. They can use the Force Trance application of the Use the Force skill untrained (even if not Force Sensitive) and can remain in the trance indefinately. While in the Trance they cease to age and need no food, water or air until they emerge from hibernation.
Mental Instability: As they age, Gen'Dai begin to lose touch with reality. For each age category they age past Adult they take an additional loss of -1 Wisdom. They never gain increased Wisdom from age, though they can increase it normally through levelling.
Regeneration: A Gen'Dai can regrow lost body parts -including significant portions of it's physical structure and limbs- in 1d10 minutes. At the end of that time all persistent penalties associated with the loss of limbs are removed.
Resilient Physiology: Because of their unique physiology, Gen'Dai can shrug off wounds that would be fatal to any other species. Because of this, a Gen'Dai's Damage Threshold is doubled after adding all bonuses for Feats or Size when determining if the Gen'Dai is killed by an attack (but not for any other purposes).
