Kalasin is normally not easy to anger. She's patient, but when she is angry her eyes turn gold from their normal blue. In hybrid form, her fuse is short, making her really easy to anger. Its like a switch is flipped when she shifts. She's calmer as a wolf, angers less easily but she is not as patient.

Spoiler:
I didn't ask to be born this way. I can’t help who my parents were. Yes, were. Most of my memories of them are foggy at best, I was so young when they died. Granny found me when I stumbled out of the woods. I was covered in dirt and mud, having only the clothes on my back, a stuffed dog and a locket. She says I was a crying mess, terrified and it took her a while to convince me to come over. Said it was food, freshly cooked meat, that finally convinced me. After calming me down, feeding me and giving me a bath, she asked me my name and where my parents were. I gave her a whispered answer of Kalasin before tearing up scared again. I know why, I still have nightmares sometimes from it. To be hunted, that’s terrifying. I dream of being cornered, Father yelling for Mother and I to run, to get me to safety. The running, the panic, the fear. Mother was hurt. Both the injury and carrying me were slowing her down. The howls of dogs getting louder. She hid me, under mud and leaves after crossing a stream. She made me promise to stay there till one of them came back. One last kiss on the forehead, and her looking back at me is my last memory of her. Neither of them came back. Eventually I stumbled out of the forest, lost and scared of everyone. Granny took to calling me Kali, took me in and raised me as her own. I think she was lonely and enjoyed the company. She taught me how to take care of myself, to heal and help others. She was like my mother. She even… helped me with my… furry problem. See, the thing is, my parent’s weren’t hunted down for just any reason. They weren’t bad people, just feared be people who didn't understand. My parents were Werewolves. Yes, I’m one too. I take great pains to keep it a secret. I know what they would do to me. Granny saw past the wolf and saw me. Saw Kali. She was the only one who knew. We were out in the woods of a nearby town, making trips to the store a thing of wonder. When I was old enough, I started going by myself for her to restock our supplies. Granny’s heath was not as good as it once was by this time. It was only a couple years later, Granny passed away. I’ve been on my own ever since. She left me everything. I continue to help the people that come our way. It was after Granny passed, that I first heard the voice. I had been depressed, lonely and lost. That first time, I had fallen asleep outside, in the light of the moon. The night had always brought me comfort. That night, her voice filled my dreams. She comforted me, called to me, taught me. She said she had been watching me, waiting for me to come of age. I was always happier the mornings after she visited me. When the moon shined bright, it was as if I could feel her embracing me. She gifted me power, taught me to use it, guided my lost soul into a purpose. I shall always remember the night she told me her name. Ashava. My life was a happy one again. But that happiness was not to last. I don’t know how, but the townsfolk found out. It no longer mattered who I was, it was what. I had traveled into town to restock, thinking nothing was wrong. The townsfolk were strangely cold to me that day, but I didn’t think much of it. I should have. I was home when it happened. I had been debating taking a trip for a while, a pilgrimage of sorts. I was mostly packed, when I heard them coming. Dogs. Hunting dogs. The smell of torches. I threw the last few things I could into my back, through on my protections and did the only thing my panicked mind could think of, I ran. Through the forest and the trees, the light of the moon peeking in on me. It was only a small comfort, but a comfort. Ashava would guide me. I misjudged a tree root though, catching my foot on it. The pain shot up my leg as I felt it twist the wrong way. I stumbled and I fell into some bushes, but I didn’t stop moving. My fall had sent me down a rocky hillside behind the bushes, tumbling rolling down the hill. When I landed at the bottom broken and battered, my head hit a rock with a loud crack sending stars through my vision. I was losing blood, and consciousness. As my vision darkened, I could see the lights of torches near the top of the hill and hear the howling of the dogs. I couldn’t make anything move, I was helpless and barely conscious laying there. This was it. This was the end. My world went black.
