Thanks for all the advice so far! I completely forgot about Run.

Actually nothing in the feat wording prevents it. And there no FAQ that forbids it. It's unusual but sounds legit.

It gets a bit weird but typically the rule of thumb of unless it specifically says I can take it more than once I cannot. Example: I cannot take Toughness multiple times but can with Weapons Focus. The first time I read the feat I thought it said I could. In all likelyhood I will just run the idea by my GM and see if he is still cool with it

I decided to throw together a monk with one goal in mind, go as fast as possible while remaining effective. As of right now I am an Ifrit (for the bonus to Dex and Cha) Scaled Fist Monk with the following planned feat progression.

Level 1 Skill Focus (Knowledge/Planes)
Monk Bonus (1) Dragon Style
Monk Bonus (2) Dodge
Level 3 Skill Focus (Knowledge/Nature)
Level 5 Eldritch Heritage (Stormborn)
Monk Bonus (6) Dragon Ferocity
Level 7 Eldritch Heritage (Elemental)
Level 9 Dimensional Agility
Monk Bonus (10) Medusa’s Wrath
Level 11 Improved Eldritch Heritage (Stormborn)
Level 13 Improved Eldritch Heritage (Elemental)
Monk Bonus (14) Mobility
Level 15 Dimensional Assault
Level 17 Greater Eldritch Heritage (Stormborn)
Monk Bonus (18) Improved Critical
Level 19 Greater Eldritch Heritage (Elemental)

At level 20 I have a Base Speed of 120 (Base 30, Monk 60, Elemental Bloodline Fire 30) with ability to use the Ki ability to increase that by a further 30. With the Stormborn Bloodline, once per day I can move 1200 for 20 rounds via Ride the Lighting (1500 with Sudden Speed).

Is there any additional options to increase my speed? To my knowledge Boots of Speed/Springing Striding do not work due to them not stacking with my monk speed. I know Fleet (Feat) gives me +5 but that seems like a heavy price to pay for such a small increase and that Sylph could give me +5 but then I would lose boosts to two relevant attributes.

Is there anything im missing?

Do you mean Beastiary instead of Monster Manual? If you are looking for stuff referring back to the Monster Manuals, then you need to stick to the OGL products.

I definitely would not start with an AP as a newish GM, unless it is play by post, but the first few ones are OGL.

Yes sorry, I am referring to the Bestiary. I starting in DnD 3.5 so I have a bad habit of using the terms interchangeably.

As of right now the only modules I have used is the first book for the Wrath of Righteous series an the Dungeon Delve Classic module I used in 3.5

Im a bit of a new GM and I was looking for some advice. I am looking for recommendations on modules to be used with new players and that are really friendly towards newer GMs. I am currently GM'ing a group of friends over Roll20 and for an adventure I picked up the first Wrath of the Righteous book. However the problem that I ran into is that book doesnt seem to label things properly, assumes I own all of the NPC Books/Monster Manuals, and has a lot of reward for players who really get into the story. While that last bit doesnt sound like a problem, I am playing with a group that is very casual and most of their RP comes from them messing around in towns (they could care less about the holy quest but are willing to do is since "that is what they are supposed to do"). In addition, I know it feels lazy of me, but I currently work 45ish hours a week that bounces between opening and closing so my free time is mostly non-existent. The more hand holding and directions the book gives me the better.

I know in the past I have run a one shot out of Dungeon Crawl Classics that id be willing to try again, but those seem to be hard to find physical copies of. Any suggestions? Bonus points if most of the creature encounters are in the book instead of saying "see MM5"
