APPEARANCE:
This young man stands not quite six feet tall with a lean, athletic build. He wears his dark brown hair short with a sharp widow’s peak and clean-shaven. His skin is porcelain white highlighting piercing blue eyes. His resting face has a slight frown.

Jonathan wears outfits appropriate for the mission, often dressing like supporting agents: black suits, black turtlenecks, black sweaters, black cargo pants, black North Face fleeces, etc. In the field, he always packs gloves, balaclava, sunglasses, hat, and umbrella, just in case, they need to pass through some sunlight.

At home, he wears comfortable three-piece, tweed suits, when he's not wearing pajamas, bathrobe, and bunny slippers, which were a gag gift.

He speaks with a British accent with oddly old expressions.

ORIGIN:
Jonathan Harker was a young, British solicitor who arranged for Dracula to leave Transylvania and enter the lives of millions. After Dracula leaves his castle, Jonathan, now a vampire, makes his way back to England. He attempts to practice law but struggles with the complications of being undead.

Eventually returning to England and with few options to earn money without killing or stealing, he shops his story around and eventually sells his story to Bram Stoker who exaggerates Dracula’s weaknesses and kills Dracula at the end of the book, because the truth that Dracula still exists would be too horrifying. Bram Stoker published Dracula in 1897. For Jonathan’s part, he earned enough to last a few years, when he finally turned to thieving.

The founders of the current agency of Monsters Universal chased Jonathan throughout England until they finally made an agreement. In exchange for a constant supply of blood, they would join forces hunting other monsters. He was their first monster recruit.

What skills and talents he had as a solicitor arguing, negotiating, and persuading have all atrophied with time when he can just Mind Control someone to do his bidding, even if it's to get him another bag of blood. He reads many books preferring history and detectives.

Agency personnel calls Jonathan Mr. Wolf behind his back and Mr. Harker to his face. Mr. Wolf started after the release of the movie Pulp Fiction as an adjustment to the Wolf and Wolfman, which had been used about since the 1960's.

PERSONALITY:
Jonathan is old and mellow enjoying his constant blood supply and easy lifestyle. He is slow to act but ready for anything. He has seen most of what Monstrous Regiment has experienced. He gets his blood and does what he’s asked.

RELATIONSHIPS
• Helen Wise / The Mummy's Bride:
Jonathan and Helen are the oldest in the Regiment and fought the Nazis together. In addition to being together for over 80 years, they have a lot in common having been converted into a life of both living and unliving. They have had many philosophical discussions about life over the decades. So, they have a brotherly/sisterly relationship of over 80 years. Helen lovingly needles him about being old and mellow. Their love language is fierce protection of one another against threats.
• Lord Hathaway:
Hathaway's and Harker's relationship is rooted in being Gentlemen. Manners Maketh the Man.

Hathaway's condition means he can be a little unhinged at times, a little too theatrical, he would expect Harker to have a word with him and remind him that being a Gentleman may have fallen from favour in this age, it still has its place. Likewise, Hathaway has chastised Harker for unGentlemenly behavior, when Harker has let his personal monster out for too long.

As Harker is also old, Hathaway would respect his views on things, especially because Jonathan personally knew many of Hathaway's ancestors: great grandfather, great uncles, grandfather, etc. On the other hand, Harker would seek Hathaway's opinion on things, especially technology, involving the new world, which is after 1960.
