Background:

Jon grew up near the sea in Sargava. His father was a fisherman and Jon loved sailing with him. He accompanied his father at a young age on long trips out to sea.

His family is Chelish in origin. They are not fond of Cheliax due to the enemies attempts to conquor them in the past. They think even less, however, of the inhabitants of the Shackles. Jon remembered a few run ins with the pirates while on his father's ship. His father was a proud man, but was smart enough to sail hard and fast as soon as a Shackle's pirate was spotted on the sea.

Jon grew up around sailors and marines, so he is skilled with many sorts of weapons. He was drawn to Cayden Cailean when he came of age. His father was also one to drink more than most on their trip, so perhaps that influenced Jon's love of drink as well. He jumped at the chance to accompany Captain Trueheart on his mission to Bloodcove. Jon will do all he can to keep those pirates, and anyone else, at bay.
