Hi, I just got my Kickstarter shipment, yesterday, but I'm missing 2 sets of the Pathfinder Emerald Spire Battle figs and 1 set of the special metal figures.
I got everything else.
Can someone tell me what happened to other items?
Thanks,
John brown
Could you please cancel my comic book subscription?
Thanks,
John

Thanks TwoWolves!
I wasn't sure where to post this, but can someone help me? I want to know how to cancel hero lab because I no longer need it? Those of you who have used it, can you tell me how you do it?
Thanks, I would really appreciate it!

Thanks Sara! Your the best!
In December, it shows two thieves guild flip maps. I only need one. I'm not sure what happened there, but if you could take that off, I would appreciate that.
Thanks,

Believe me your not the only one, most of us complain on the preview threads on paizo's blog because that is usually the latest news on releases. I hate to complain, but I'm like you I can't keep up this pace. I was going to start a subscription until I found out what the schedule was going to be like. The good news is they said that they will have a normal schedule next year. They said these sets were running late and that is why they are so close together. Hopefully they will just do three a year, but the schedule is unknown after December. I hope this helps!
John Much appreciated, thanks! No problem!:)

Yeah, I am a comic subscriber and I've already added it to my next month subscription, but I shouldn't have to pay for it because I already bought my comic last month.
What about those of us who already bought it and are a subscriber?

I don't know if everyone feels this way, but I really like it when we see a bunch of figures to support a particular race come out in the same set (as with the grindylows and sea devils in S&S), rather than being spread out over several. This is great. I do because it gives you diversity in whatever scenario your running. These are nice looking minis. It is too bad I have to decide between all three of these sets for Christmas because they all have something unique to offer, LOL.
Is there a place to look up the stats for adventure paths that I don't have? I would like to know all the stats on Queen Ileosa.

Thanks everyone! All your answers is what I assumed, but still needed to know.
Thanks,
John
Say, I am using a module, "The Crypt of the Ever flame", and this is my first time to GM, how do you know what the lighting conditions are in any particular module, if it doesn't say?
Is it automatically assuming torches are hung in each dungeon room?
A person with dark vision doesn't need a light source, correct?
What about low-light? I'm still confused on that one?
A torch lights up 20 feet, correct?
If anybody has any helpful tips for a new GM, concerning lighting, I would be most grateful.
I know I'll mess up occasionally, but me and my friend are ready to play.
Thanks for any response,
John

I was really looking forward to this next set, but due to medical bills I will have to wait a couple of months until I can re-subscribe. Sorry, but the timing is not good for me. If someone could cancel this for me I sure would appreciate this. I also need to cancel the undead builder series as well.

This should be with one of my monthly subscriptions to save on shipping.

You should begin with a total of eight 1st level spells; 3 plus 5 bonus ones from your high intelligence. Ok, thank you very much.
Hero Lab asks you to put your spells in the spell book.
How many spells go into your spell book?
Can you cast any spell from any school of magic?
Here is my female elf wizard stats:
STR 7 DEX 12 CON 11 INT 20 WIS 12 CHA 12
My three schools of magic are evocation, conjuration and divination.
I only put 3 1st level spells I the spell book, but it automatically put a bunch of 0 level spells in the book.
Did I do this right or do you pick a lot more than that?
I did the same with my familiar which is a hawk.
Thanks for any help.
One more question, it says I over spent 5 points on my hawk's abilities, but I never even touched it so do you deduct five points on hero lab for your familiar on abilities?
Thanks everyone for your help. I'll read up on it.
Howie23 wrote: If you are new to playing PF, be aware that a Druid requires more preparation to run efficiently than most, if not all, other classes. Depending on your build focus, you should be prepared with a character sheet for your character, for your character when wild-shaped,and for your companion. You need a way to efficiently record buffs on each of those character sheets. You also need statblocks for summoned creatures, and you need to know your character's spells.
There is an option in PFS to progress at half speed for character advancement. You can make that choice for each level. You may want to consider spending a level or two doing this to get used to the complexity of the necessary preparation.
Thanks for the helpful advice. It does sound like a complex character class.

StreamOfTheSky wrote: It hurts your spell, wildshape, and animal companion progressions; and is thus a weak choice overall. But dipping Master of Many Styles monk can give you a lot of benefits for melee. Best time to dip would be level 3 or any odd level thereafter. You want time to meet style feat requirements other than improved unarmed strike on your own so that when you enter at an odd level, you can use the odd level feat to pick up the style itself (now that the monk level has given you IUS) and use the monk bonus feat to get a higher level feat in the style chain w/o having the requirements. I would grab Crane Wing, but it would depend on the DM's definition of a "free hand" -- you'll be wildshaped most of the time after level 5.
And there's the normal monk benefits of wis to AC when unarmored and Stunning Fist, of course. I say go MoMS because flurry is horrible for a druid; unlike normal two weapon fighting with unarmed strikes, flurry does not let you add your natural attacks as secondary natural attacks to it, and you will have plenty of natural attacks as a druid (and pounce!).
Don't dip more than a level, though. When you're all set with Natural Spell and maybe Boon Companion, definitely pick up a second style, too. Dragon Style is a pretty nice benefit from the initial style feat alone; ditto for Boar Style. Snake Fang or Tiger Pounce would be a good alternate choice for your monk bonus feat if Crane Wing isn't going to work wild shaped.
I'm sorry, I got you confused. I'm not doing a monk and druid combo. I was just saying that was another character that I never played before. Sorry for the confusion.

StreamOfTheSky wrote: I have never played in PFS and only know about how it works from forums, so I probably can't advise you the best. IIRC, PFS both has a huge ban list but also restricts you to books you actually own and bring, so...what is available for you?
Do they require you to play the race that the miniature is? Or are you just really attached to human? Not that human is a horrible race; it's quite good for every class. But I think an Oread or something could be a better melee druid race for you.
One thing to keep in mind if you can use the Feather subdomain of Animal domain (from APG) and the Boon Companion feat (no idea where that is from), you can take Feather subdomain, get an animal companion at level -3 at 4th level, then take Boon Companion to erase the -3 levels. In the long run, it's like paying a feat for +1/2 level to perception checks and a bonus spell per day of each level, quite a good trade. Of course, at the early levels you just have one extra spell per day and no animal at all and it's harder on you. You don't need Feather subdomain to do this; regular animal works, too. But the basic animal domain is super terrible for a druid, to the point where I don't think it's worth it anymore. And really, if feather subdomain from a common book is not available, boon companion probably isn't, either...
Thank you also for the info you gave me as well.

Here are the books. I have:
Core Rule Book
Advanced Players Guide
Advanced Race Guide
Ultimate Combat
Ultimate Magic
Ultimate Equipment
Ultimate Campaign
I also have several companions and campaign settings as well.
It doesn't have to be like the miniature, but that is what caught my eye on playing something that I haven't.
I even bought a half-orc monk, and I never have played that class as well.
I'm just getting advice from you veterans and go from there.

StreamOfTheSky wrote: What books and sources from PF are allowed? Is any D&D 3E material allowed? Is any 3rd party content allowed?
A druid can be built with a casting focus, a melee focus, or a hodge-podge mix of the two. What do YOU want it to be? Druid, along with many casters, is not nearly as pigeon-holed into one role as the non-casters are, you can take it in various directions.
I do suggest Wisdom as highest stat and a race that boosts wisdom, unless focusing very heavily on the melee aspect, though.
I also think Menhir Savant archetype is so stupidly good (well, it doesn't do anything awe-worthy, but the trades are ALL basically pure gains with no pain) that every Druid should be one.
For traits, I like Two-World Magic to gain Ghost Sound as a cantrip so you can communicate while wild shaped (I think it allows the creation of intelligible speech but that's debated; regardless it would allow for communication on some level) on basically any druid. And Natural Spell is, of course, a class feature cleverly disguised as a "feat choice."
At first level, you would want to be using a scythe or a scimitar + shield, and the best non-metal armor available, which is probably hide, leather, leather or horn lamellar, or do-maru. Depending on your wealth and sources available (lamellars and do-maru are from Ultimate Combat and are "Eastern Armor").
That's just some general advice, hard to give better advice w/o a reply from you. In general, best core druid race is Dwarf. Human is a good choice if you want +Strength. Out of core, Oread is an excellent pick for a melee or "hybrid" druid. Keep in mind wild shape will cause you to lose some racial features like dark vision, which is why human is > half-orc, for example (you lose some of the half-orc benefits; +1 feat and the skill points remain).
It is for pathfinder society. I just bought this cool miniature with a sabre tooth cat and she is caring a spear, so I figure she is a melee type druid. I've never played one, so I just wanted some advice on what to focus on as far as abilities, but if I go more of a spell caster type, I still needed to know what abilities to focus on. Any help is appreciated.
I bought female human jungle looking character with a big cat.
Would she be more along the lines of a melee druid?
What abilities should I focus on?
What skills should I pick and traits?
When do you get a big cat?
If I go more magic, what abilities do you focus on?
Thanks for any help.

1st item
"add custom weapon"
add the mace, check masterwork, done
Ok, thank you! I appreciate that.
My 1st level cleric wants a masterwork heavy mace. I know a regular heavy mace is 12 gold and then add 300 for the masterwork, but on hero lab, all I see is Maces that are a couple of thousand or more.
What am I doing wrong?
I see cold iron masterwork sword for 300, but I don't see any other weapon in that price range, except a dagger.
Where can you buy a mace or any other weapon, like the long sword on hero lab?
Can someone help me please?
I asked this the other day, but I'm doing something wrong.
Thanks,

Erik, I would buy a sand point boxed set. That is an awesome idea. You could use it for the rise of the rune lords or with the beginners box. Very cool!

You'd be very welcome AC! We've got some gamedays scheduled up near Plano. Thank you for linking that for him.
Heymitch wrote: The two favored classes come from the Multitalented half-elven racial trait.
There are alternative racial trades that can be taken by swapping this one out, and these are implemented in Hero Lab. However, you need to have the data packages for the books in which the options are given (in this case, the Advanced Race Guide).
So, if he doesn't want to multiclass, you might want to suggest another option, like Arcane Training, that allows him to use spell trigger and spell completion items for their favored class as if one level higher.
Ok, cool! Thanks for the tip!
Thank you all for the answering my questions. That helped a lot.
He is a half elf wizard.
So does that mean if he chooses another class, such as a fighter he can level in it as well, just like if you were a multi class character, but you get the bonuses in both or does that mean it will take longer to level up because he is two classes?
Is that correct?
What is the highest level a multiclass character can be?
My friend is making a wizard on hero lab and a second favored class pops up, and I have never seen this before.
Is this because he has a 20 intelligence?
How is this possible?
Oh, ok I guess I never paid close attention that there was a drop box.
Thanks guys!

Alzared wrote: Choose a Custom Magic Weapon and then the masterwork box. Do you have to type in heavy mace to get the price?
On hero lab, it shows the cold iron long sword and dagger, but say, I want a masterwork heavy mace, it doesn't show that. It shows named hammers that are very expensive.
How much would a masterwork heavy mace be?
I thought it would be close to the same price as the sword.
If so, how come hero lab just shows the long sword and dagger as being the only weapons a first level character can afford because regular long sword costs more than a heavy mace, I thought?
Can someone who has hero lab answer this question for me?
I would appreciate it.
Thanks,
John
Sorry Erik and Lisa that I was negative, don't get me wrong, I'm excited for what you have in store for us, but I know the history of Wizkids with over saturation of the market place and from what they did to heroclix. I'm glad your hear to alleviate my fears, I just thought you needed to hear how I felt about it because I collected everything heroclix and now I don't buy them for this reason alone. I'm a plastic crack addict and a completest, so you see my concerns. Thank you for such an awesome lineup of figs.
There was a discussion on a discord chat about it and someone pointed out that the basic commoner stat block has a +3 mod to str, +2 to con, and +1 to dex and wis, and I find it amusing that apparently your 18 str level 1 barbarian is only slightly stronger than a commoner
is that statblock representative of average joe schmoes around the world or are these jsut turbo commoners?
Like if I start turn with earth gathered, raised earth shield, then gather another element, do I still get the benefit of a shield being raised? Or like if you first action Earth Shield and then used a two action overflow like Rolling Boulder. It doesn't specifically say you loose your shield if you drop your element in the text but doing so would completely negate the penalty for using it to block and the description/flavor is very much that you are using your gathered element as the shield
Mirror implement states that
"any effects you generate come from only one of your positions"
How does that interact with auras? are they an "effect that you generate"? if so, how do you determine which copy is generating the aura at any given time? Or are auras not covered by this and you jsut get double auras?

Haste lets you stride or strike with the extra action, but flying is a different action that is not striding, yeah? so is haste just useless if you're flying?
I just noticed for the first time the other day that slings actually have reload and it seems so weird??? like are you really telling me that putting a rock in a sling is equivalent to cranking a crossbow or loading a bullet? That these actions take similar time/effort? if anything I'd think that pulling and knocking an arrow is much closer...
so nimble shield hand says that "The hand you use to wield a shield counts as a free hand for the purposes of the Interact action." and everstand has you wield a shield using two hands. So would Both hands count as free hands while using everstand stance?
I'm not sure a situation that calls for having two free hands so I don't know that it actually matter, but I'm still curious about it
Rules as written, it seems it applies only to the Sling weapon and nothing else. However, I can't imagine its intended that special feat for halflings to use slings better would not apply to the special sling that halflings get, the halfling sling staff. Is it really only slings and nothing else, or is it sling weapon group?
