Backstory:
I come from a small Elven family deeply tied to the pursuit of knowledge and a greater bond with magic. I was born far west of Arillia where my mother and father settled for a short time to receive any knowledge the Sylph wizards of the area could offer. There is an academy in the capitol city of Windshear in the country of Kolsta where Sylph from all over can come to train. The Sylph people welcomed us as they were also very interested in the knowledge my family possessed. For a time we learned mutually from each other, but eventually my parents could no longer take the probing nature of the Sylph and found it necessary to leave. Having grown up with the Sylph I did not find their ways invasive, and later in life I found that I had adopted many aspects of their lifestyle without being aware. When my parents left I chose to stay to gain a deeper understanding of magic. For several decades I trained and studied with the Sylph.

In time I developed an overwhelming desire to explore the world around me. At the age of 80 the call for adventure was too strong for me to deny any longer. The next 40 years were spent with several adventuring parties where I continued to hone my magical skills and expand my knowledge. Eventually I grew tired of the danger and killing involved with adventuring. I even grew tired of the company of most others. I had seen far too many close friends lost or killed in our adventures.

I secluded myself and began to settle in the forests of Arillia where the local flora offered me new adventures of the extraplanar sort. These new adventures often resulted in revelations that would further enhance all aspects of my life. After one particular adventure I obtained the companionship of an air elemental that I believe was somehow pulled back into this plane with me. I believe he was drawn to me through my ties with the Sylph, and we have since formed a magnificent bond.

Description:
Joeepi is 6 feet tall. His pale white skin almost seems to glow green when he steps into the forests that he has spent the past few decades of his life in. Often he He is curious and often probing. Joeepi's close ties to the Sylph have trained him to gather as much information as possible in all situations and often without the consent of those around him.

Role:
Joeepi lacks much desire to outright kill things. Many of his known spells center around controlling the environment and shifting circumstances in ways that favor him and his party.
