Barbary Corsair |

I am working on building a character who is a young man/late teens (human) who was killed as a child in a border conflict that decimated his village (perhaps Cheliax/Andoran/Isger areas?) and somehow found himself alive again and full of rage and seeking vengeance. He is now looking to avenge the past and restore the area and drive the intruders away. Malcolm is based on a Scottish highland type (not an immortal, simply meaning the terrain and culture of his locale). Campaign will be in that area in a border struggle/wild west/baron reclaiming ancestors lands situation. He will be lightly armored, bastard sword and dagger martial type however I am considering something along the lines of an Oracle (Possessed Oracle w/ haunted curse) or Skald (Dragon Skald) dip with him as those would give him the "supernatural fog" that he could invoke/bring about reminiscent of his homelands valleys, etc. as part of his mystique/personae. The Possessed oracle would give him even more of the vibe that he was dead and is still connected to the past life. The Dragon Skald merely gives him the alter winds, fog cloud, and obscuring mist piece of the background/feel. Any dipping outside the core Fighter (or other martial class) is simply for the haunted/fog/effects, not to give him full casting per se as any spell casting would be used to simulate supernatural effects, connection to the past, ghostly stuff.
Am I pretty much looking at the right place, or are there some other class(es) that you can think off that I should consider?
Thanks much!
