Despite Grea's best intentions, Jareen is staying where he is for about 10 minutes. Either she'll get out fine in that time and come back this way, or she'll be in trouble and he can raise the alarm.

Jareen nods understanding and casts his spell ( bluff roll earlier in case anyone has seen them coming to not appear to be using magic). "You have 4 minutes, go." he whispers.

Then waits, hunkered down for her return.

Ok, let's get on with it then.

"Let's get moving then Grea, we will use stealth to get close, I will make you invisible for 4 minutes, so you can do a quick scout. You must not attack anyone, even to defend yourself, or you will become visible again."

Stealth: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10
Bluff to hide spellcasting as something else: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (2) + 10 = 12

Yuk.. this may not go well....

All of my spells are 1 min/level it would seem, so we need to get in quite close. Then I can either invisible a scout and let them run for 4 mins, or I can do that, *and* alter self and join them. Anything else I need a full rest for to swap spells about.

I say we go for the second option.

"Oh, I can do small things. Nothing that would stand up to a close inspection, but I can make strange noises a little way away, or lights dance and such like. I could also conjur a mist..... with lights and noises coming from it"

Basically if I go all out, I can have Dancing Lights, Ghost sound, haunted fey aspect and mage had at will, disguse self, a couple of obscuring mist and a couple of silent image, and 4 invisibilities. But that would be all of my spell slots and leave nothing for enlarge person ;)

"With a full night's worth of rest I could make 4 people invisible. I still can't do much about their sound, but we could cause distractions elsewhere to mask that. I would leave myself vulnerable though using almost all of my power in that way."

No, that seems to be about right. We a foundering in a sea of too many options and a worry that this fight is a touch too large. We need to bite the bullet and get to it.
