About Jalice of McIntyre McLain
Jalice is Flightmistress of McIntyre's 3rd Merchant fleet. The 3rd Merchant fleet consists of 8 merchant ships and 16 escort ships. As Flightmistress, she is a general in times of war, and an expert in trade in times of peace.
Jalice is the highest ranking non-McIntyre in the McIntyre service, and an inspiration to all those allies who aspire to high rank with McIntyre. She is known to be a hard woman who takes no nonsense from anyone under her command, and few who aren't. She's the only person to tell The McIntyre he's an idiot and not get her head lopped off for it (at least the only to have said so publicly).
Jalice commands from her flagship, the Adamantine Albatross, with it's two escort ships, the Mithral Martin and the Steel Shrike. When not performing maneuvers, or under flag for a trade run, she is usually assigned to the McIntyre Enclave in Atalantia (as far from The McIntyre as he can get the disagreeable woman).
