Based on this-you will not lose your place. You increased your pledge and did not change your tier level. Your are good your place in line is safe.

Again, I do not believe for one second that I will lose my place in line because I make changes (like adding $100 for an extra year) to my pledge level.

That is different-that is an add on and requires not change in reward tiers. My original comment was directed toward new tiers added but as Dakcenturi pointed out with the added $400 tier they where smart and just put in the first month beta for the tier reward.

I am worried that people keep saying they would never... When they have said they will.

Hope you get a response soon but I believe the issue was laid to rest on the KS comments page.

It was wrong because the buddy tier first month is not yet filled. Once it is full, you can not change from first month pioneer to buddy tier with out losing your place is what I understand from the horse's mouth.

You won't lose your place in line; they've made that very clear. The only way you might lose your place in line is if you zero out your pledge.

The reason is that these packages are designed to let people play together, and we don't want to put someone in the queue who came in at the end in place of someone who pledged earlier.

These aren't as much addon's but additional tiers.
