last week we had a tpk because half our party wiped. so were starting a whole new game with a cool idea of a all dwarf adventuring group based in forgotten realms.

a long time friend and i are playing twin dwarfs. his god is of war and strength and my got is of crafting and earth. so far we have awesome ideas roleplaying wise. were twins enough said. well the trait our gm let us take was passed off 3.5 and its a twin feat that basically when were in combat ifwere adjacent to eachother we get plus 2 to ac and again anothe plus 2 if one of us is flanked and we are by eachother. the downfall to the traight is we have to make a will save dc 15 and if we fail we have to move min 5 ft closer to our twin. and if they are on the verge of dying a dc 25 or we go to thier aid.

other then that were both clerics and are going down the team work feats. one of which is shield wall. giving each of us another plus 2 to our ac. so far so good.

my main question is my character is going to be mad into crafting and i need some ideas as to what. id like to use some type of crafting that has to do stone work. not sure what there is for it. im also gonna dable in craft arms and armament. but do i have to take craft armorand craft weapons?

crafting with stone i guess i could make stone figures of my god. hammer heads. and arrows. but what else. i need ideas

surprised at how many post this has gotten. i would have to agree with some of this. but my main question wasn't asked properly.

if i as a synthesist summon my eidolon form and then put on the belt. after teh eidolon reaches 0 hp it goes to its home plane. what hapens to the items them selves? i believe if you put a belt on an eidolon it is on the eidolon even in his home plane. but i may bewrong

4 people marked this as FAQ candidate.

I can't seem to find rules for an eidolon wearing wondorous items or if the synthesist wearing the item works for both.

example if the synthesist is wearing a belt of giants strength and then summons his eidolon would the eidolon get the plus 2 to strength?........

or when the eidolon goes to his own plane do the items drop to the ground if the eidolon can infact wear them..... i know that the eidolon cant wear armor... but dosen't say he cant wear wondorous items

Ok, if you're taking Skill Focus anyway, I see literally no reason to NOT be a Half-Elf. Compared to Human, you lose 1 skill point per level and gain...

- The favored class option of +1/4 evolution points. 1 point is worth a feat (Extra Evolution), so you're basically getting a bonus feat every 4 levels.
- Immunity to magical sleep and +2 saves vs. enchantment. If you go unconscious, even just briefly, Eidolon suit goes poof (there is a feat to mitigate this, though).
- A +2 to perception, though sadly it would overlap w/ the skilled evolution
- Low-light vision

Seems like a good trade to me...

THIS IS TRUE... but my character back story and rp wise the human was the best choice. can't always powergame for the best. although if some one cast sleep on you they cant direct it at the eidolon or at me therefore the eidolon would go to sleep and i would be in a motionless form? so the eidolon form wouldn't go away. at least that is how i percieve it.

Summoner’s Call

You have the power to call your eidolon one additional time per day.

Prerequisite: Eidolon class feature.

Benefit: Whenever you summon your eidolon, it is more powerful for a brief period of time. You may give it a +2 enhancement bonus to its Strength, Dexterity, or Constitution. This bonus lasts 10 minutes after the summoning ritual is complete.

WORST FEAT EVER!!!

i thought this was a spell.......

Hmmm... a few observations: You CAN take feats that rely on your eidolon's str and dex - f.ex. Power Attack when you have str 18. But you'll only be able to use said feats when the eidolon is summoned.

Remember that you cannot summon monsters (with your spell like ability), as long as the eidolon is also present. You can summon them via spells though.

Look into the feat "Superior Summonings" - it makes you summon 1 additional monster when you use a spell that already summons more than 1 monster.

actually you cant take power attack if your character dosent have the prereqs for it. so since my character doesnt have 13 str but in eidolon form i have 18 does not mean i can take the feat. if i had 13 str then i would be able to summon it.

and superior summoning looks awesome actually.

Im playing a summoner in the forgotten realms campaign. so far i love being in the eidolon form and im only level 4. but as in my current situation my eidolon was sent back and i was stuck with summoning monsters. i have buff spells as a summoner and not so much damage.

basically the feats i have are:
Augmunt summoning
Spell focus Conjuration
Skill focus dungeoneering
Craft wondorus items

my flaw is curiosity which alows me an aditional feet and im human

i plan on taking eldritch heritage which is why i have the skill focus. im looking to mkae my summond creatures stronger. is thier any feats or items i can get to make this possible or am i at my limit?

also. what can i do to make my attacks better while in eidolon form. at level 5 ill have 28 ac with all the eidolon skills and mage armor cast. i can get my ac up to 32 for a short period. my strenght will be at 18. i cant take any feats because i use my eidolons str and dex mod.

my question is basic. while in eidolon form does the eidolon get healed by channel positive energy heals?

so, i cant figure out why when i choese a spell caster the bonus spells shows #na as well as spells per day has anyone figured that out?
