Some good news, I submitted my thesis to my director this morning. I also had an eye procedure this morning that lasered the scar tissue in the Right Eye and the results have been amazing. The other eye will have the same procedure in 2 weeks.

Sister seems to be doing well.

You would need to pick one of those classes to start off with. Every even level you get a class feat. You can use those class feats to take feats in your class or take archetype or multiclass feats.

The good thing is that a PFS legal character can play in the level rage, usually 1-4 and 5-8 and 9-12, as long as they are in that level range.

We have a dwarven warpriest of Torag

The barbarian is a spirit totem.

So the people in the group have created a barbarian, let me double check the totem, a dwarven warpriest and another player is waiting to hear what the party might need.

As is stands, I am just checking, the party is made up of
Long Leg Greg, human thief
Ebiten, leshy monk
Dwarven warpriest
Human barbarian

Possible gunslinger
no word from Jayln, as far as I can tell of what character concept, or interest.

I will be on Christmas holiday starting next Friday for about 2 weeks so I would like to start during that time, at least with initial stuff before the craziness of the new semester starts.

I love Young Guns II

Jack a Lope got hit hard. The dumb hobgoblin was going to get it for hitting him.
Allowing the barbarian to come up and flank the hobgoblin, he sees a chance to get away wanting to provide the flank and uses his bunny legs to leap away in a way only the bunny can do

Yoo hoo, he waves as he lands trying to get the hobgoblin's attention [/b] I'll make ya famous [/b] as he turns his little paws into a gun shape

1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23 witches bolt
1d12 ⇒ 6 electricity

Is Jaylen interested in playing?

I'm not sure how "reported" works -- I have chronicle sheets for them both and they are both in RPG Chronicles, but it looks like only one of them shows up in Paizo. I've spoken with the GM to see if the other can be pushed through, so we'll see.

I'm happy to just ignore all this until it gets sorted, or to just create a new character if you think this is going to be too messy.

That is up to you.

We may have a magus and a wizard joining from another group I play with.

Did he scare any of the wolves?

Jack a Lope gives the hobgoblin a disapproving look for hitting him and then uses his connectionto the fey to try to scare the hobby gobby and other baddies away

Once per short rest, as an action, you can cause each creature in a 10-ft. cube from you to make a WIS saving throw (DC 13) or become charmed or frightened by you (your choice) until the end of your next turn.

Has the in absencia charavter acted?

Hooray!

Clerics are very good healers. I have a 1st level oracle that I have to try out, but I do not think that even a life oracle is as good. I think that an angelic blooded sorcerer might be a good healer as well with their focus spells.

Healing in PF2E can also be done with medicine checks that can help healing in and out of combat so people with the medicine skill and a healer's kit can help to heal people.

I was hoping to begin in about a week or two, at least with the preliminary stuff. I have another player or 2 from another game I am in that have expressed interest.

Gunslingers can be really fun, I have a pistolero based off Billy the Kid, you know, being from New Mexico and all/

If anyone is interested in the Knights of Last Wall organization

https://pathfinderwiki.com/wiki/Knights_of_Lastwall

I do not think that I can heal you :(, maybe our former cleric now fighter can help take down the big bad.

I think that there is an option in Pathbuilder to do Remastered options. I have never really used it so they might not tell you what options are PFS legal or at what level you can take something.

Leave the little bun alone!!

H is hobgoblin?

clerics now get 4 heal or harm spells, based on their font, not based on their charisma. Gods now can offer the ability to become sanctified which means that your spells might deal more damage to fiends or other extra planar things. I do not recall is Cayden does offer that.

Paizo does have the pdf and Neyths also has the rules.

Just got back from seeing Bonhoeffer, much better than Gladiator II.

Has anyone else gotten the chance to look at the possible character they might make for PFS2E?

The history is bad.

The story is meh, I watched it for the city and the naval battle in the Colosseum.

The buuny manifests a shoe to kick the hobgoblin the da butt
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18 eldritch bolt
1d10 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5 force

Happy Thanksgiving Weekend.

Went to go see the new Gladiator movie.

I just want to double check that if he uses a ranged attack he is not at disadvantage, correct?

Does anyone else know what they want to play?

If anyone is wondering, PF2E's combat action economy has 3 actions per round + reaction.

Most spells cost 2 actions to cast with a few, like shield, costing only 1.

Combat can be much more dynamic, so a character can move, attack and then raise a shield for example.

That is awful. I had that happen to me once playing PFS1E. We had played like 4 or 5 scenarios that the DM never reported and then he just disappeared

I use Herolab

The bunny will move over a bit to get a clear shot at their foes but will cast mind slivers on G3

DC 13 iNT
1d6 ⇒ 1 Mental

You drive a disorienting spike of psychic energy into the mind of one creature you can see within range. The target must succeed on an Intelligence saving throw or take 1d6 psychic damage and subtract 1d4 from the next saving throw it makes before the end of your next turn.

Jack has not been hurt!

The bunny's eyes catch the shine of the red gem and he whispers A sparkly!

There is a new hybrid study on the Tian player guide

What ancestries are being considered?

I've completely forgotten how PFS works, tbh.

I'll revamp one or both of the characters that I've mentioned above. I'd like to play Long Leg Greg, but I recognize that a Thief character (like the tough of the gang) might not fit in well in a small group, so happy to make someone new also.

Thieves get bookoo skills and their sneak attack is dirty. IIRC you csn get it for every hit when you flank

I’m super flexible on what to play, happy to fill in a missing slot. What’s the most straight-forward or easy to play? I’m guessing a fighter of some sort.

This is an example of a 1st level PFS2e character that I have.

Experience for scenarios is 4 xp per scenario. You need 12 xp to level. He currently has 8

Common ancestries can be played for free as well as some of the mixed heritages, i.e. Nephilim for example.

Players get a certain about of ACP points (Achievement points) per scenario, quest, played. You can use those to purchase boons to have other options. IIRC when you register you are given 80 ACP's to start with. IIRC that is enough to play a lizardfolk, hobboblin, gnoll and a few other ancestries.

I think most builds are really customizible, so you can have a ranged, sword and board, two janded weapon, fighter. There are also gunslingers.
