" Jack begins to draw the very shadows in the room toward him. 4d3 - 8 + 4 ⇒ (1, 1, 2, 2) - 8 + 4 = 2 OK I added discipline, do I add anything else? If not then The shadows are my friends. Burn a fate point to re-roll: 4d3 - 8 + 4 ⇒ (3, 2, 3, 3) - 8 + 4 = 7 I think I'll need to change that one, seems pretty positive not neutral now that I think about it. ![]()

"In fact, the fellow I faced at the ball didn't seem to be part of the Dragon's attack at all, he dropped this white king chess piece. Perhaps a calling card?" ![]()

![]() wow, lots to catch up on, got to try out the Alpha Play test of Atomic Robo this weekend with Mike Olson though heh. "Aye, this is turning out to be a bit sticky. We need to find out more information, who, what and why mostly. Yes, I know, stating the obvious as usual. I'll need to be getting back to my place to pick up my blade, I'll feel much better with it on me." Jack will also lore check 'magical keys'

![]() Jack stumbles out of the ballroom. Then catches up to everyone, causing Danny's phone to waver a bit. "Wow, talk about party crashers. Danny, you uh, got some a little blood on yah." Sorry for not being up to date on this one, still dealing with unpacking...also, new job. Worry not, I'll either get it together, or write myself out of the game. ![]()

![]() Of course if we had to leave our weapons at home, then I don't have my weapon...hmmm. I'm assuming it's pretty obvious that this is a supernatural creature, if it is, then Jack will tip his face down in a sinister manner, and whispers a phrase in Basque, one of his rote spells. "Itzalen kapa" as the shadows begin to swirl around him. [defense spell] 4d3 - 8 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (3, 1, 2, 1) - 8 + 4 + 1 = 4 adding Conviction and the bonus from my bracer. ![]() Accept the Compel Jack arrives at the party, on his 1936 Motorcycle, complete with sidecar. As he steps off he reminds himself how happy he is that this bike has given him very few troubles. Hexes just don't affect WW2 era vehicles as much as the modern cars. Jack walks up to the door with his goggles still on, never a fashion whore, no matter that he was French, he considers it a waste of money. Besides, ladies love a bad boy...Now, to locate Matthew and to watch for any hunter activity. Jack steps into the Shadows and Cloak of Shadows for a few minutes as he walks around a corner. ![]() OK, got my tie in stories done up. Wrote in Danny Kaye and Trip Langdon. Just need to get my focus items and enchanted items written up. I just wrote in that his parents were dealers in antiquities. So I can write up my items with that in mind. Also, his 'father' wasn't his real father, but his mother was a full wizard, he just found that out in the last 'tale'. Also, his spells use Basque as their language. Kinda fun, I love using google translate for gaming. ![]()
