Hello,

I just subscribed to the Pathfinder Player Companion series in the order above. Is this going to wait until April's subscription shipments or done this month? If I have an option, as soon as possible would be cool. :)

Thanks,
Tom Stump

Hello,

I placed the two orders above and received confirmation emails on both (both gift certificates) but I didn't receive the codes to redeem them. Is there something else I need to do to get those added to my account?

Thanks,
Tom Stump

Hello all,

I'm trying to decide if the Kingmaker AP is right for the group I am GMing. I have one player who LOVES the role-playing aspect of the game, and the other who is mostly into the hack and slash part.

Kingmaker seems like a great AP for the first player. He loves getting into the details, and kingdom building would be right up his alley. The other player has no real desire to be any type of leader, and prefers the 'story driven/linear' style play.

Is there a place for a person who plays non-leader, hack and slash style characters in the Kingmaker AP? Has anyone else had any experience with this type of player/character in this Adventure Path?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! I don't want to buy the entire AP just to find out one of my players would be bored to tears. :)

Thanks!

YEEEESSSSSSS!!!!!

Hello all,

I wanted to throw an idea to the Powers That Be at Paizo, and this seemed like the best avenue to do so.

I don't know about anyone else, but after the first two previews for the Beta release, I'm ready to read and play. I pre-ordered the book about a month ago or so, and I can't wait to have it in my hands...

However, I would REALLY like to read it NOW! So, I just want to let you guys know, you may feel free to run my order through now, and I'll be more than happy to pay and wait patiently until the actual book arrives, but let me download the PDF NOW!!!! :)

Just a thought...

Hello all,

As I was reading the feats section, I saw two that got me to thinking of a different idea. The two were Intimidating Prowess and Persuasive.

Why not change the name of the Diplomacy skill to Persuasion, and change Intimidate to a strength based modifier?

Anytime I think of 'intimidation', I don't think Charisma. I think of the type of person that has the big stick, so to speak. Where as someone who is persuasive can use words and subtle actions to convince someone to do something.

Plus, the change would eliminate the two feats mentioned above.

Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Hello all,

I've pretty much decided that I'm not converting to 4.0, for multiple reasons which have been discussed elsewhere. So, I'm trying to decide what non-WotC books I should pick up.

I was hoping I could get some advice from all of you as to what books/supplements have been the most helpful to you, either as a player or DM/GM. I prefer a physical product, but am not completely against PDFs if that's the only way to get the info.

I already own pretty much every WotC 3.5 book that isn't setting specific, and thanks to the Green Ronin sale here, I picked up the three 'Advanced' titles.

Thanks in advance for any advice you can provide!

Hello,

For some reason, when I go to download Pathfinder #1, Windows is blocking the file. The file downloads, it's 25+ MB, when I look in the ZIP file, nothing is there. I go to extract it, and it says that Windows has blocked the file. I right-click on the file, choose properties, click Unblock and apply. I open the ZIP file again and it's still not there...

Does anyone on the Paizo end happen to know why this is happening and how I can go about fixing it?

Thanks in advance,
Tom (JTStorm)
