About Izar Talon
Izar Talon was born Aaron Litz, but rearranged the letters of his name to something he felt was more entertaining. He was born with several unfortunate conditions: he was only 8 inches tall, unable to walk, unable to speak, and illiterate. After years of intense therapy he finally overcame these cognitive and physical disabilities, and eventually even managed to grow to the staggering height of 5 feet 11 inches.
Unfortunately, his Degenerative Disk Disease manifested and his back began decaying in his early 20s, and he was nearly rendered paraplegic before he was saved by a series of 3 surgeries on his spine. He was nonetheless left with moderate nerve damage, leaving him weakened and with various physical problems, unable to handle prolonged physical exertion.
He also suffers from ADHD, Tourette Syndrome, generalized Anxiety Disorder, and Clinical Depression; these conditions give him the ability to maintain multiple ideas and trains of thought simultaneously and at a quicker pace than is normal, making him highly Intelligent, and he is able to read at an astounding rate, retaining information to an incredible degree, but his jumbled thought patterns make his Wisdom lower than it normally would be, and he also must succeed at a Concentration check during times of stress or combat or mix up his trains of thought. His thoughts are also normally so jumbled that he is very resistant to mind control, Charm, and Compulsion effects, and his disordered mind and unusual way of thinking leaves him inured to the unusual appearances of most Aberrations and Outsiders, and any resulting Insanity effects. His TS also makes him very resistant to attempts to take physical control of his body from outside forces, and give him faster than normal reflexes.
Unfortunately, his Anxiety Disorder, Depression, and ADHD leave him very susceptible to Fear and Confusion effects. He also suffers an automatic -4 Circumstance penalty to any Charm effects from a female of Human, Elven, or Half-Elven appearance.
