I noticed the "Second Edition banner" on the cover. As someone who is (finally) running a 2E Remaster game, I'm a little confused about the use of "Second Edition" versus "Remaster." Can someone summarize what each means, in the context of books published SINCE the Remaster?

Feros and Perses13 were pretty much correct here! Remastered books are books that were written for Second Edition that previously contained OGL materials but have been "remastered" to remove those materials and are printed under the ORC license. All of our releases since Fall of 2023 already do not have any OGL material and are printed under the ORC license, so rather than double state they are both Second Edition and qualify as already Remastered material, they just say "Second Edition" since there was no previous iteration of them in existence to need to differentiate from.

I hope this helps clear this up!

I never noticed that, to be honest, but I'm somewhat surprised to hear that reasoning. Isn't it kind of confusing to a customer to buy an adventure tagged "Second Edition" that refers to rules by terms they don't find in the rulebooks tagged "Second Edition"?

Wouldn't it make more sense to tag the books based on which version of the rules they use, instead of whether they existed under the previous ruleset?

Just came to this page to check if this is 2nd or Remaster-based exactly because that confused me. I run 2e, not remaster, and it is important for me to know if the book contains stuff I don't have in the old books. Glad this was clarified in the discussion.

I just want you to know that you're not alone: the calendar for my SoT campaign

Brb, updating the calendar module with cool new month names.

Your link no longer works. Care to update? I am about to start the campaign, and that could be very helpful!

Also, on an unrelated note, I created a quick and dirty graphic to help out my players with regards to teacher and student branch affiliations:

Posting it here in case anyone else would find it useful.

Can you send it in DM or otherwise? This link is no longer working (or even never did as this is a typical Discord CDN safety measure.

Hi,

Was anyone successfully able to import PDF files of the adventure to Kindle Scribe and write on them? Paizo PDFs are the first ones I have problems with. I tried a couple of approaches (file per chapter, full adventure). And yes, I know they need to be sent using Send to Kindle. I did it that way exactly.

I suspect it may be related to the way Amazon Kindle works with PDFs and perhaps they don't let me know that they need edit permissions to the file, and this one is password protected.

I would really love to be able to prepare my games on Kindle Scribe on the original files I have. Can be anything done about that, or I am at the mercy of finding alternatives for this specific case :(

Almost wasted my money to buy Bestiary 6 for Pathfinder 1e, as on page 29 of the adventure I am directed to "Bestiary 6, 97" for Deinonychus stat block. Which is insane, as Bestiary 6 was for PF 1e, not 2e. Turns out (thanks to my deep search), it was in the Bestiary 2e simply.

Fun fact tho, on pages 94-95 in Bestiary 6, there are also Dinosaurs as well. Not cool, guys! Some errata would be nice for the adventure.

I see no conclusion here. Is there any final clarification from Paizo already?

Sadly the Doc is no longer available. Does anyone have copy?
