==============================================
Description: Standing at an impressive 6'2" and weighing around 200 pounds, Istakkos Many Traveled is a fine example of the Shoanti people. Although not possessing quite the muscles of a standard Shoanti, Istakkos' square jaw, broad shoulders, and deeply tanned skin show that he is of pure blood. He posseses numerous tattoos across his body and face, with the most prominent being a black band across his eyes. All of his tattoos are black, and are of many skull and bones, and represent things such ad the dead, duty, and eternity. Someone with knowledge of the various Shoanti clans and their tattoos can easily identify Istakkos as being from the Skoan-Quah - or Skull Clan.

He wears a loose set of black sleeveless robes that are adorned with symbols similar to his tattoos. Many small bones are stitched into the robe, and it seems to be made of fine but strong silk. His bald head is covered with a similarly designed black hood. In one hand he carries a large wooden shield with the primary symbol of the Skull Clan on it - the shield itself is ringed with numerous bones. In his other hand, he carries a simple short-spear, also adorned with small bones, but with a glinting cold-iron spearhead.

His hands and forearms however, are shriveled and blackened, as if he had plunged them into a blazing fire. Luckily, this does not affect his spellcasting.. but he his quite poor at using weapons of any sort because of this ritual scarring. This ritual was his way of represnting peace between the tribes - by making himself inept with the combat styles of his people, he can prove to the other tribes that when he comes to negotiate, he means no harm.

Personality:
Background: Born of the Skoan-Quah - or Skull Clan as known to Outsiders - Istakkos was raised by his father, one of the clans most prominent of spirit shamans. Istakkos quickly showed aptitude in the ways of the Oracle - and thus became one of the shaman's apprentices. Istakkos was well-spoken, had an amazing memory, and showed skill in magic at an early age. He's also shown signs of having magic in his blood through sorcery - only time will tell, however.

When he became an adult, he earned his full name, Many Traveled, due to the fact that he's worked as a diplomat between the various tribes. He is well versed in each of the different tribes' cultures, as well as shown interest in various ancient ruins and cultures that dot Varisia. Not to mention, he has been the ambassador to the Dwarven citadel of Janderhoff on a small number of occasions, and as such has picked up how to speak Dwarven.

Recently, however, he has left his tribe for a time to go study the ancient Thassilonian ruins. He hopes to learn more about the ancients' ways, and bring back such knowledge to help enrich his tribe. Thus, he has traveled to the small town of Sandpoint, continuing on his search for ancient knowledge.

Traits' Info:
Scholar of the Ancients (Campaign): Istakkos, being a lore-keeper, ambassador, and wise-man of his tribe, has had a keen interest on ancient Thassilon for quite sometime, and has left his tribe for a time in order to seek out more of such knowledge so he may return and enrich his tribe.

Magical Knack (Magic): Magic is in his blood - his family comes from a long line of prominent shaman, and so it is no surprise that he too has the gift. In addition, some of his powers are manifesting through sorcery, as well as divine power.
