Very serious gamers whose opinion I take very seriously on these matters have said Fantasy Grounds is the way to go for Virtual Table Tops. These are mostly guys in the military playing overseas. They know the difference between bad and awesome.

If I get into a virtual table top, it will be Fantasy Grounds.

I would prefer to play Pathfinder on Fantasy Grounds. But if it is not supported, I will probably just look for Savage Worlds games. While I do not believe it is anywhere near as good as Pathfinder, it beats the crap out of anything else.

give them the liscence. Make money. The mac users have better things to do with their time than play games anyway.

Like mow lawns for a new pc.

Last week Fantasy Grounds Released version 2.8 ( a free update) the system now has quite good pathfinder support. It is implemented as a variation of there newly updated D&D 3.5 core rules (you simply select 3.5 when creating a campaign, and then when it starts you get an option of core 3.5 or pathfinder variant).

There had been a fan made pathfinder mod that my group had been using for the last year, the new one is quite a bit better. The character sheet is great and so is the rule set implementation.

I really highly recommend pathfinder on Fantasy Grounds 2 now (An no, I am not affiliated with them, just a happy customer)

I have uploaded the completed model of the 2nd floor of fort Rannick

Those are awesome models. I'm an architecture hobbyist myself, but I haven't made the leap from 2D floorplans to 3D models yet - it's a bit intimidating. What program did you use to do those? Also, how much time did you put into the Fort Rannick model?

Thank you,

I use Google Sketchup it is really easy to use and has a ton of great video tutorials on the site as well as a ton on youtube (just do a search for sketchup).

It only took me a couple of hours to do the latest floor plan, the main outer model is probably 6 or 7 hours of work spread out over a few weeks now, with at least that much more to do still.

I have done a model of the first floor interior of the fort

here it is

very nice, well done!!!!!!!!!!

can you make another building?

I am also working on thistletop for my campaign, the players took it over after cleaning out the goblins and have done a few revisions so it varies from the original map a little.

That model would have helped immensely when I ran Ft. Rannick. There's a specific miscommunication that it would have prevented! Kudos!

I also am working on 3D models of Thistletop, in my game the PC's took over the giant head and are making it into a stronghold, so the map is slightly modified from the original but may be of some interest to some

Here it is

I have been working on a 3D model of fort Rannick, it is far from done but I thought I might share my progress on the project so far.

I plan to complete the outside, and then model all of the building interiors.

you can check it out here

here

It is being modeled in google sketchup a free 3d modeling program

I am no expert or architect just a hobbyist, please feel free to comment, but try not to be too harsh I am more interested in looks then exact architectural accuracy...
