Jotun:
”Father, we have visitors!”

Inga’s eyes widen momentarily.

Jotun:
“This is a matter for the seer.”

She turns to Skada.
Jotun:
“Alert Nirri. Tell her there are runespeakers among our guests, and to fetch the crone. I will bring them to Father.”

Amka, noticing Kork's befuddlement, begins to translate for him.

After a moment, two women step into view around a small bend in the river. They are dueling intensely with wooden swords, and display some degree of martial skill. The blonde one notices you first, holds up a hand to halt the duel, and points. Her companion lowers her sword and turns.

She eyes your weapons and armor warily, and her gaze lingers on the goblin and tengu members of your party. Catching sight of Amka, her wariness fades somewhat.

Jotun:
”If you come in peace, you are welcome. I am Inga, daughter of Bronwen, who is chief of the Aurali. This is Skada, my handmaiden.”

She turns and waves her arm, indicating the structures in the distance.
Jotun:
”This is Fiskurvellir, our home away from home. The villagers are fishermen, though in times of trouble the farmers and herdsmen from the surrounding fields gather behind our walls for protection.”

She turns back to you.
Jotun:
”You are outsiders, and very strange ones at that. What brings you to my father’s holdings?”
