Physical description:

Imara has the typical tall and slender elf build. She has straight dark brown hair that she typically braids in one of a variety of ways. When not in armor, she wears a simple tunic and trousers, both looking well worn, but clean. Her simple leather boots are equally worn. In addition to her hopeknife, a diamond engagement ring hangs from a chain around her neck. She has an ugly looking, jagged scar on her upper right arm (from a bar fight that got out of hand one night at the Killin' Grounds).

Personality:

Most people in town know Imara as the elf that lost both of her parents by the time she was 10 and who spends much of her free time in the House of Wonders. She is friendly enough with people in town, but mostly keeps to herself, outside of her few close friends.

Although she is reserved, she does care deeply about the town and the people in it. She's daring and always happy to take on a challenge head on. Maybe that's why magic items draw her so much - for the challenge, and the mystery.

She can have fun, but can also be broody. She can also be a bit of a trouble maker, or at least isn't too too concerned about the rules or what others might think, but she is also not malicious or disrespectful. She likes to do things her own way/be different. She doesn't take crap from anyone - life is too short for that! She doesn't let herself get close to a lot of people, because it's hard to think of losing them.

Imara is fascinated by trinkets and magic items. She collects as much as she can afford and enjoys using them in creative and unexpected ways.

Background:

They accepted her family when they arrived as outsiders and then Agrit and Sara helped to raise her once both of her parents were gone. The militia did look for her father. Though they never found him, she is still grateful to them for trying. When her father went missing, she felt completely lost and adrift. She would sneak around and watch people from afar, feeling detached and lonely, but somehow feeling better to know that the world still went on without her and that people were still able to by happy in the world. Maybe she could be too. After being caught a few times, she got more careful. And as she learned how to live without her father, she found herself needing to watch from afar less and less. It's rare now that she'll spy on people, but it does happen from time to time. Her goal is not to learn secrets or intrude on private moments. She simply found comfort from being able to watch life continue from afar.

Her closest friend is Sid. He is a year older than her. He's not a fighter. In fact, he's a baker. She always laughs at this. They seem so different, yet there's something about him…the way he is so kind to everyone, so gentle. His quiet thoughtfulness. Maybe he balances out her wild side.

Brinya’s Love is a +1 dagger infused with the soul of the fallen hero Rodrik Grath and of his fiancee Brinya Kelver. Once per day on command, the wielder can grant the weapon the ghost touch weapon special ability for 1 minute. During this time, Brinya’s Love sheds light equivalent to a daylight spell and the wielder gains a +3 sacred bonus to his CMD against disarm and sunder attempts directed at the hopeknife.
