Illyndar helps revive the other teammates after the drawn out combat thinking he and the others are lucky it didn't get worse. After the group is re-summoned back for field duties Illyndar greets his companions once again. "Greetings and blessings to you all. I am happy to see you all looking fit. I was just in the library and was told to report over here to see the Honorable Dreng. Does anyone know what this is about? Has anyone seen him? What are you singing and why?"
After looking over the coin Illyndar confidently tells the others "I am almost certain this is a Pathfinder's Coin. These apparently simple coins are usually styled to resemble ancient currency and they hide intricate gold and platinum wires within.... Really a marvel of design and functional magic... This matrix, carefully modeled after fragmentary Azlanti coins, causes the Pathfinder’s coin to rise an inch into the air and slowly spin in place if placed atop a wayfinder.... we should try that... In addition, when levitating above a wayfinder, the coin can be given a message of 25 words or fewer... so the message has to be carefully thought out before recording it... additionally it might be a message for us... maybe.... Or it could be a clue... But I digress- This message repeats in the speaker’s voice the next time the coin is floated above a wayfinder. I believe you may still have a need to understand the language the message was recorded in to understand it... Only one message may be stored at a time, and once it is triggered, the message is expended and a new one may be recorded.... You know what I am absolutely sure it is a Pathfinder's Coin having seen one of these in Scarab Sages Headquarters when I joined them.... Incidentally does anyone actually possess a wayfinder?" He then smiles to himself and crosses his arms in front of his chest to let the information sink in to the others not realizing he took a long time to explain something simple...
The elf points to a name while the group is looking..."Here is Dalin Minebrow, the dwarf pathfinder whose beard was magically burnt off on a mission. While he was a great warrior, losing his beard did make him severely depressed especially with his kin .. although it is often hard to tell with dwarves. He finally found solace later in his life living with the elves in Kyonin who did not judge him over his lack of facial hair. I am told he looked better clean shaven...."
Illyndar starts to feel a bit sick over what he expects to happen from the effects of the swarm due to his rather delicate physique but then the noble Cara makes it all go away before the elf falls to his knees retching. "Are...you...alright?" the elf manages to stutter out at Maaldrek while panting from the exertion of combat. "Why was that swarm here? DO they not clean out this place on occasion?" he asks no on in particular. "I have a scroll case we can put the notes inside of to keep them safe." he informs the others.
Illyndar reluctantly runs towards the dwarf when he sees the man hold up what the elf can only surmise to be a flask of alchemist fire... he did hear from one of his adventuring cousins that alchemist fire was a good way to deal with swarms...

Illyndar takes his time crossing over the planks set down by the hired help. He follows the others and stands in the back as the room is searched. "I am not sure that would be the intent of the mission or test they have given us if we all come back up inebriated." Illyndar tells the hunter when the suggestion of drinking each bottle is mentioned. He looks over what the others have found and says "Hmmm... some of these are pretty old... older than my parents I think."
Illyndar takes the paper with the vintage written on it in case some of the others on the team do not yet know how to read script. He follows the dwarf down into the cellar careful not to lose his balance by using his staff. He looks around the room seeing it's obvious state of disrepair and knowing he is not yet schooled in the finer points of engineering...
"Well... who shall shuttle over first?" he asks the others.
"My apologies... I did not notice you were talking to me. As for me joining the society it is simply a matter of family debt or expectation from the younger children. I plan to learn as much as I can about the arcane ways of the society and then present myself to the Elven Arcane Academy in Kyonin." Illyndar tells the one calling herself Janira. He then sips some wine.
Illyndar orders another round of berry wine for himself while looking at the common festivities goin on in the tavern. He manages to see Ierwin's display of strength which impresses the elf. But then Ierwin seems to be a man of the natural world much like elves so it isn't too surprising. Although the feat did knock over some tankards at the table when the table shook. Hopefully on one got drink spilled on them...
Illyndar looks over at the tiefling and shrugs his shoulders when asked the question while the two of them are gabbing it up with the experienced halfling.
"I am not sure..." the wood elf wizard tells Maaldrek. The elf looks across the tavern and sees the others chatting it up with other patrons. He has no plans to join the half orcs in their banter and laughter... It is quite easy to see that the elf spent more time with his nose in the books or studying nature rather than actually speaking to people.
"....be with us in the next hour..... hmph.... indeed..." Illyndar mutters under his breath... "Do you have a wine list?" he asks. "I was hoping for something rather light to the palette. Fruit based- maybe apple flavored?" he inquires thinking he is in an elven establishment back in Kyonin. "If not then I will take your finest red. I'll let you decide. Surprise me."
"My apologies, I am schooled in a variety of topics including alchemy, arcane arts, magical beasts, aberrations, under-life, animals, fey, plants, the weather and seasons and even planar magic but not this is my first time to this city and I do not know enough about this locale to make an educated guess.... oh never mind... it seems our new friend Cara knows some things we need. I wonder if there will be gnomish berry wine?" The elf tells the others trying to impress them with his academic schooling while also staying on opposite ends of the group from the rude dwarf...
