Good friday everyone! I'm still off to a slow star, but this thread will go on for the rest of the year. I have the first two portraits queued, one will be ready tomorrow and the next will be ready on mondasy. By next week I'll pick and do the third, which I still haven't choose.

I'll do these fully hand-made (no dgital!), so it's a bit of a slower process.

Thanks for risking yourselves to get artsy-mutilated! :D

Glad you like'em! Maybe once this threads is over I should do a map thread?

Ever wondered how you'd look as an elf, orc, human? Beign yourself you own character on Golarion, kinda like LARPing but cooler (no need to wash off make up or rip off pointy ears!).

11 years ago I jumped into the boards giving away character artwork for Pathfinder PCs, and that basically changed my life. A few years and many, many new gaming friends later, life took many unexpected turns and I got quite distanced from gaming and even artwork, which is now my part time trade.

Well, it's time to reconnect with the community and give back some of the awesomeness it has given me.

What's this thread for? To request YOUR portrait done as one of your Pathfinder's PC.

"Rules":

1. If interested, post your description within a spoiler button (to keep the thread short). I'll pick and draw one portrait a week. It'll be based on a picture of YOU. The more expresive the pic the better. No linkys on the thread, lets handle this witha bit of privacy, link me in a PM to your pic on social media.

2. The more expresive the better: Happy, sad, excited, terrified, hungry, etc. I'll pic the illo based on the expresiveness of the pic and the originality of the character. The final illo will be lined in here publicly, so, if you are not OK with sharing the illo, then please don't request it.

4. The races and classes to be draw will be those of the Pathfinder Core Rulebook

3. You can use the illos as you wish EXCEPT for commercial purposes.

So, be my guest and request!

Rhune es fabuloso!

Not the usual "steampunk" setting, it keeps the classic fantasy feeling while presenting technology on a "stormpunk" way, that is technology with a nordic and old school feeling.

I thought infusion was the same, except with MUCH more herbs and MUCH more steeping.

The only accepted weed or else in a drink is barley!

THIS!

Please make this a thing! That would be soo cool!
Yes! Built within a huge mangrove by the ocean edge bartended by a grumpy old hadrozee and his flamboyant halfling partner. Oh and they are ex-pirates. Because everything is better with pirates.

Well, I'm honor-bound to make a monkey tavern, and soon(ish) it will become a reality :)

My mundane and second fav PC would retire as a consulting Sage with a classy tavern with curio shop (to sell all the odd bits gathered over many adventures) and a secret combat pit on the basement!

Now I gotta make this into a map... hehehe

My favs RPGs KS are those from Kobold Press and Monte Cook Games, they handle their business super professionally, not to mention the top notch quality.

I've got burn a couple times with botched KS creators (once quite bad...) thou the money lost was minimal, and nowadays is much easier to spot doomed projects after week 1, so I think the risks are less, or at least we are not as naive.

I'd like to support the Aetherea game but I'm currently wife-banned from KS :P

And if only the KP Beast book KS was for Pathfinder...

I blame Cosmo for my dissappearance from the boards and my PaizoCon absence for the last couple years... And now I blame him for my return!

2 people marked this as a favorite.

After a 3 year wait, this froggy baby is back in the production line... Why 3 years?

On 2012 right after publishing I got involved in a HUGE RPG project that took all of my time... SOme of you may still remember that infamous KS.

On 2013 my wife got pregnant and all priorities turned to make our place liveable (we didn't even had our own bathroom back then, go figure).

On 2014 Our baby is born on a very difficult delivery and things turn a bit (a lot!) stressful healthwise for both my wife and baby.

Nowadays our boy will go tu surgery this or next month (darn/blessed social security), we take him to physical and other kinds therapy from 2 to 4 days a week and aaand we'll get labs results from genetic (the cherry on top) in a couple weeks as well. So I've been busy with daily life.

So the next few weeks are a turning point on our family life and it's time to get back on the RPG saddle. We'll get the winning entries in the book and expand it a few more pages of extra goodies.

If there's anything in particular you'd like to see further developed, just say so and we'll see what we can do!

Depends... nekkid or non-nekkid? And how do we get "official" status? I did get Freehold to throw a bike at me. Does that make me "official"?

I guesw that would be for an old-timer (like Freehold) to decide.

I'd say maybe those that have made it for at least a couple years with a healthy FAWTLy status (which means beign tolerated an FAWTLy threads and beign personally hated by Gary).

:D

PaizoCon is about to reach the stage where it might benefit from an additional day (i.e., a 4-day con like GenCon, rather than just a 3-day con)

That would be FANTASTIC!!!

Some of us do take quite the trip -and it would still be worth it even if it was for only a couple days!- and of course another day of COn time would make this even shinnier.
