I was thinking of Slippers of Lightning Leaping if that's more flavourful than the pretty dull Boots of Speed option. But once per day as opposed to ten times per day is a huge difference!

Saying this he goes invisible and ethereal again and goes back the way he came into the lair of the beast.

Laying the bloody giant dagger carefully down right next to the sleeping head of the dragon the ninja takes a deep breath.

He steadies himself.

He raises his wazikashi, more a holy relic now than a weapon, pauses, mutters a prayer to Sun Wukong, who he fully blames for all this, and then, dropping his ethereal state, plunges it right into the arctic dragon's eyeball.

Coup De grace damage: 1d6 + 2 + 1d6 + 2d6 + 5d6 ⇒ (1) + 2 + (1) + (6, 1) + (2, 2, 1, 1, 6) = 23
AutoCrit: 1d6 + 2 + 5d6 ⇒ (2) + 2 + (4, 1, 5, 4, 4) = 22

Then without pausing to look back Hisao does something he's gotten quite good at over the years.

He runs.

Staying invisible but keeping etheralness off and full withdraw all the way back. He's not stopping until he gets back to the group.
