![]() Well I was thinking more of standard gear to relieve encumbrance for the main character. Pack, rope, lantern, flint and steel, shield (so it can later take shield proficiency), a masterwork weapon (so it can take weapon training evolotion), and the assorted stuff that you never seem to have on hand. ![]()
![]() Well yes, naturally, it would be the same gear all the time that you purchased with your inital 900gp at the start. As to do otherwise would not make sense. Just wanted to run this by some folks to see their thoughts and what kind of fun gear would they equip for their Eidolons to get the most benefit. As for traits being applied to class features. The additional trait feat simply allows you to select two traits from different categories. Class features are not taken into any factor as it is simply a feat that anyone can take if they have available feats. In this regard, the Summon Edolon is a class feature, but the rules state they do gain feats like any other character or monster. 1 at first, then an additional every 3 levels. Feats: This is the total number of feats possessed by an eidolon. Eidolons can select any feat that they qualify for, but they must possess the appropriate appendages to use some feats. Eidolon feats are set once chosen, even if the creature changes when the summoner gains a new level. If, due to changes, the eidolon no longer qualifies for a feat, the feat has no effect until the eidolon once again qualifies for the feat. ![]()
![]() I came up with a wheezy idea which is all per RAW. Talk amongst yourself. Would you allow it, what gear would you give it, etc. So an Eidolon gains a feat at level 1 and then 1 every 3 levels as a standard character. So AS per the rules. At 1st level I give it the additional trait feat. One of the traits I give it is wealthy. So it starts with 900gp worth of gear. Wouldn't that mean that every time I summon my Eidolon it has 900gp worth of established gear already equipped and on it? Which could be potions, healer kits, rope, and stuff which are renewed every time you resummon it daily? This is as per RAW. Just like a summoned deva always has a +2 hammer with it and it disappears when it is slain or dismissed. ![]()
![]() So I was watching League of Extraordinary Gentlemen the other day and I noticed how the Jekyll character carried this large padded carrying box of all his drugs, exilirs, and serums on a strap around his shoulder. Anyone see any rules for such a device floating around? Such as weight, cost, gaming stats for item removal and damage, etc. |
