Right I get your point and it is always better to play with the rules you know. I was just curious if it was stated anywhere that I couldn't find. I did look in a few places for this information before posting here and even read what you sited in your post. What bothers me is what is said in the spell fox's cunning itself

This spell doesn't grant extra skill ranks.
I want to know what that line actually covers.
