History

Spoiler:
Devlin is the bastard son of one of the older men of the Medvyed family. He doesn't know which one, but his mother told him growing up he was. She was a servant until she ended up pregnant and unmarried. Eventually, she married a harsh man. He was a tax collector.
Devlin spent much of his youth playing with his “imaginary” friend, Delfey. They'd run off into the woods and disappear for most of a day playing games. Nobody believed Delfey existed until he manifested one day while Devlin was hiding from his step-fathers anger. Delfey's appearance scared the old man unconsicous and he hasn't laid a finger on Devlin or his mother since.
Over time, Devlin learned how to access his natural abilities and came to understand Delfey was actually a creature born from both his imagination, and The First World.
With the confidence he now felt in himself and his oldest and truest of friends, Delfey, Devlin feel there is nothing that can stand in his way from finding proof he is a true member of the Medvyed family.

Appearance
Devlin is a handsome and relatively well built young man. He stands a solid, if not overly well muscled, 6'1” with rich dark brown hair and bright blue eyes. He's quick to smile and always willing to lend a helping hand to those in true need.
Delfey is rarely more than a few feet from Devlin. It (He?) stands 5'5”, and doesn't appear to have eyes or ears as a human would. It's skin can change slightly in color and pattern to better allow it to sneak around. It usually wears a concealing cloak as people tend to not be comfortable in its presence.
