Received mine alas it appears the installer (PFO_Installer_9_1.exe) is being flagged as being / containing a trojan (IDP.Trojan.CB452937) by AVG so time to do a bit of homework first... Submitted to them for confirmation too so hopefully they'll correct the issue...

Good at least to get confirmation here that everything is above board and emails are to be expected (the source address seemed valid).

Alas I must say this didn't run well for our group and I hope figures are kept for average success etc as it didn't go "perfectly"... I don't think this is an issue of how it was run; much of it was certainly challenging - not something wrong in Itself as it can often as in this case promote some nice roleplay - BUT it runs too long and the faction missions and event as a whole are - I suspect - prone to fail on a regular basis especially in a convention environment.

If you have the latest version of the app and re-download the spellbook the the new spells now show with their proper spell names :-)

. however I'm still confused because I download Pathfinder spells on the menu, however not all the spells from www.d20pfsrd.com show up (specifically I don't see the Ultimate Magic spells).

Just a thought but would it make more sense to say that range personal spells could be used to make items BUT they only work for the person who created it thus keeping the restriction of the original spell design intact?

Petterro has released the new version which I can confirm now downloads the new spell list fine! Roll on all those new spells! :-)

As a player I go for an initial favoured enemy that fits the background regardless of the chance of it coming up though something like indeed is quit fitting as something to hate and is bound to turn up at some point.

Once into the flow my choices are driven by what is actually met so they will tend to come up anyway (though knowing my luck, the next encounter will send us to another plane and we won't ever see one again).

Drow war was a classic where at times being very focus on one enemy can have an extreme effect on your impact on a fight but others lend more to a more even spread of enemies.

I would be more concerned about an over abundance of a given race might unbalance things but even then having a run of non match encounters can highlight the weakness of too much focus.

Is there a link to the old version of the spell list we can use until the app is updated to the new format?

Petterro has confirmed that the pathfinder file has been updated and isn't currently compatible with his application but the fix is on its way :-)

Oh and if you have a spellbook that doesn't work you can delete it by swiping over the book name (obvious once you know how ;p)

It may be just me but the current download seems to be bugged and doesn't provide the spell details... I've emailed Petteri and fingers crossed it's just me but you may want to hold off from downloading if you already have a working copy (I was doing it in hope of getting the new spells from Ultimate Magic ;p)

Still an awsome app (if you have an IPhone or IPad :-))
