So instead of aasimars we could call them pieceofaasimars.

Totally intended as a humorous pun.

The most obvious reason being that's what they've been archetyped as for a couple of editions.

Some folks really aren't getting the point that PFRPG isn't really a rewrite. It is a continuation with some improvements.

Not everything is going to be different from what it already is.

3.5 has this problem with benign transposition from the Spell Compendium. My wife's wizard used it in conjunction with summoned celestial dogs to bypass some walls of force that I'd intended to be lowered by task completion in the dungeon they were in. It bagged them a good treasure earlier than they were supposed to have it but I adjusted.

That's what good DMs do...they roll with it and make adjustments. It's not just our game y'know.

They had me at "we will be continuing with 3.5" and I'll stay with them for backwards compatibility.

Hmmmm....did you guys know that the paladin of tyranny from Unearthed Arcana is OGL?

Yeah... And I'm not very impressed by the paladin of tyranny, to be frank. It's CERTAINLY not a Hellknight, which is more Lawful Neutral than anything else.

Of course, the main problem is that for so long, we haven't known if Pathfinder was going to switch to 4th edition or stick with 3.5 or what. Which meant that introducing crunch (such as prestige classes or alternate base classes or whatever) for parts of our campaign world before we made that decision was made was tricky and fraught with peril.

Now that we've decided to stick with 3.5 and eventually transition into the Pathfinder RPG in Aughust 2009, we know, for example, that prestige classes are going to remain a part of the world.

In any event, and if I'm remembering correctly, Rules For Hellknights will be appearing in the Hardcover Campaign Setting in August 2008.

Sweet! However, I think a preview is definately in order.

My group just finihsed the Prince of Redhand.... and boy did they develop a dislike for the B'Kruss the hobgoblin. Even though he was a very good foil for the part, They managed to get him kicked out of Zeech's festival banquet. Good stuff.

I am thinking about using him again as a recurring villian. I think a good possibility is by replacing the Severed Hand's orc crew (from Libary of last resort) with B'kruss and his Knights of Rehand. B;Kruss insulted the Prince at the party; consequently, he lost employment with the Prince and wound up by being employed by Darl Quethos. I realize that I have to keep the Pc's in Redland a week or so, to allow B'Kruss to meet Darl. How does this sound? I don't think B'kruss plays another role in the adventure path.

Thanks

Sounds like a great idea. All you have to do is have Lashonna keep stalling on meeting with the PCs until events go as you wish. Good improvisation and usage of an important NPC.

This is a great example of how Paizo has created fan loyalty. Even after it's all over with, James is still helping out his readers. I love that.

Thank you all for everything.

Has anyone thought of doing a "Prince of Redhand" on their group and have weird stuff served at the meeting as a sort of 'this is the kind of thing we eat' challenge?

Assuming you don't have a fireball first role-play via Speak With Dead group, that would be freaking awesome!

First course...sweet & sour jermlaine kabobs!

You guys are destroying my happy mental image of happy game designers who get to live the dream and play their cool stuff all the time.

Schedules, deadlines, overtime...my God! You're mixing reality with our fantasy!

Seriously you guys, don't forget to kick back and roll some dice.

Bump. The Guru is experiencing serious Tyralandi withdrawal.
