Halfling Paladin of Quellious
![]() Gramorn sighs in relief upon seeing the city, though the lifts and ramps are disconcerting. The little halfling in plate mail will certainly draw looks crossing the bridges clumsily.

Halfling Paladin of Quellious
![]() Not having the slightest idea how to get to Felwithe or Kelethin, Gramorn half listens to Revery and Sajeek debating the best path to take and spends some time chatting with Ksenya. The old man is nothing if not entertaining and talking with him helps distract the halfling from the fact he's walking through a humid forest with mosquitoes large enough to carry him off, while wearing plate mail. ![]()
Halfling Paladin of Quellious
![]() Gramorn takes the full brunt of the thorns and shakes his head to clear it from the effects of the fey poison. Smiling at Sajeek, he says, "Told you I figured he burn us to a cinder if he was of a mind to."

![]() I apologize for yesterday, had a long day with school and work and ended up crashing early. ![]()
Halfling Paladin of Quellious
![]() Gramorn reaches up in an attempt to swat the malicious fey creature out of the sky. As they fly out of reach, he calls out, "SURRENDER NOW AND NOONE ELSE WILL BE HARMED!" He holds out a flicker of hope this can be resolved without further bloodshed.

Halfling Paladin of Quellious
![]() Shrugging off the momentary disorientation caused by the magic of the fey attack, Gramorn advances to the pixie on his left and hefts his earthbreaker, attacking it if possible.

Halfling Paladin of Quellious
![]() Gramorn senses the danger just in time and jerk back, falling backwards, but out of the mouth of the trap. "Great, so we can expect more of this moving forward? Just what we need, dangerous pranks by forest creatures who get their jollies by preying on travelers, while climbing a dangerous mountain pass. Aren't there some friendly fey creatures too though?" Gramorn calls Kwen up to take the point, deferring to his better observation skills. Reflex Save: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18 ![]()
Halfling Paladin of Quellious
![]() Ugh, gotten too used to Pathfinder rules and then languages are their own weird thing in EQ. Spent 4 points for 2 ranks. It's fixed now. ![]()
Halfling Paladin of Quellious
![]() Looking back at the old man, Gramorn silently hopes he answers Revery's question in the affirmative. That mountain looks like it is no fun to climb under the best conditions, much less in middle of a snowy winter. ![]()
Halfling Paladin of Quellious
![]() Having so much equipment strapped to him, it's difficult to tell where it ends and Gramorn begins. Somehow, the halfling manages to trundle along with the rest of the group without slowing them down. His new armor is polished to a brilliant sheen, with the holy symbol of Quellious emblazoned on the breastplate. He casts a striking image, when he can be seen around the rest of his supplies. Gramorn has no trouble sleeping, even with Ksenya watching over them. The old man seems capable, just a bit daft and the journey through the snow is particularly tiring for the small halfling. He nods at Revery's watch order, deferring to his experience with the rest of the group. ![]()
Halfling Paladin of Quellious
![]() OK, I think Gramorn is actually done. I need to fill in some of the personality and appearance details, but he's done mechanically, I think. I added the Bonus Xenh just posted. He spent some time learning Iksar from the others. I had to rearrange his equipment, screwed up badly on spell costs. I have his equipment in an excel spreadsheet, where should I post it? ![]()
Halfling Paladin of Quellious
![]() Gramorn takes one last look at the burgeoning community and can't help a smile breaking out across his face. He is immensely proud to have been a part of carving out a new community to promote peace between the different races of Norrath, especially since it had been a tainted horror show of undead before their arrival. It is also the place where he finally learned the gods are concerned with more than petty politics amongst themselves and sought to be exemplars of their ideals to their followers. While he knows there is a long road to travel, he hopes to return soon. This has become home. ![]()
Halfling Paladin of Quellious
![]() He does, I just realized I screwed up the spell cost so I need to rearrange some gear accordingly. ![]()
Halfling Paladin of Quellious
![]() "I guess he's with us then." Gramorn shrugs and continues preparing for the long journey ahead of them. Truth be told he's more concerned about the lack of a healer than he is about Ksenya, but there seems to be no answer for that here. Perhaps in the elven city the can send a healer along with them. ![]()

Halfling Paladin of Quellious
![]() Gramorn walks into the bar where Ksenya is sitting nude, rolls his eyes and grabs a drink. He's well past being surprised by anything the old man does, but does begin to think even if he is a competent spellcaster, his antics could place them in danger when it comes to surviving the wilds of Kunark. Already lacking a true healer, the last thing this group needs is a addle brained old man drawing attention to their presence. Although he truly does like Ksenya, Gramorn finishes his drink with a sigh and heads off to consult with Sajeek, Kwen and Revery. "I know Ksenya intends to come with us to Kunark, but we don't know what he is, what his skills are or if he's even semi-sane. I don't even doubt his ability, but his behavior could prove very dangerous to all of us where we're heading. I honestly like him, but he won't even tell us his reasons for wanting to come along." ![]()

![]() Willby was the first character I did one of those for, was the account name. As far as the other stuff, I'll get it cleaned up and do an equipment list this afternoon. The damage came from a str item which I decided not to buy and forgot to change back, as did the attack bonus. Some of it was a straight copy/paste from Jinx as well that may have gotten messed up. It also seems to have eaten my skill points. Hit Points are max at first then half+1? On armor and speed, that was copy/pasted from Jinx, it may be different because he's a hybrid and doesn't fall under the straight melee rules.

Halfling Paladin of Quellious
![]() Once again left shaking his head by Ksenya, Gramorn mingles with the group's old friends, finally putting faces to names he'd heard on their travels. He particularly enjoys the bard's tales, and like Syn is left speechless as the details of the groups previous adventures are revealed. ![]()
Halfling Paladin of Quellious
![]() Gramorn shakes his head in disbelief upon hearing Gwen won't be coming with them. He is somewhat concerned about replacing the healing and protection she provides, but that can be replaced. Gwen has helped to keep the party together and focused during some very difficult times. He mutters to Sajeek, "I guess it's on us to keep us alive now?" While he has some new healing abilities, Gramorn is not very confident about keeping the group alive in the thick of battle. "Perhaps we should attempt to recruit a priest." ![]()

![]() Just posted for yesterday. Was a long day for me and I crashed early. I'll post again tonight to stay caught up. ![]()
Halfling Paladin of Quellious
![]() "Friends of yours?" Gramorn asks Sajeek and Revery, calling for another round of drinks. "Speaking of our trip, when do we leave?" As the conversation continues around him, Gramorn regrets having to leave this place just as their labor is beginning to bear fruit. While he would love to be a part of the developing community here, he understands his destiny lies in Kunark. Smiling at the children, most of whom are taller than he is, Gramorn quietly begins inserting himself into their games. He acts as referee and disciplinarian when needed, but mostly just has fun being around the children as he watches how quickly they adapt to their new home. The change in the halfling is obvious. The anger that drove him is gone. He is quick to smile over a cup of ale or a game with the children. He has come to understand fighting is, at best, a means to an end, and should never be the goal itself. ![]()
Halfling Paladin of Quellious
![]() Gramorn finishes setting the defensive plans for the city and appoints the dwarven captain to serve in his stead. As he finishes packing away the rest of his supplies, he realizes something he never would have believed upon first setting eyes on the manor. He is truly going to miss this place. ![]()
Halfling Paladin of Quellious
![]() Gramorn shakes his head at Ksenya and and fills his own pipe. Unlike the others, he has little concern about the old man's ability to take care of himself, but he does wonder what would lead a man of that age to venture into the unknown Kunark jungles. He sincerely likes Ksenya, but cann't even begin to figure him out. "I'm not much of a linguist, I do well to get by in common and halfling. I am a warrior and, thanks to the priests here, a semi-competent healer. Neither of those things would be questioned in a party venturing into the wilds of Kunark." ![]()
Halfling Paladin of Quellious
![]() Looking the old man over, Gramorn looks over at Sajeek and then back at Ksenya, "So, what sort of spells are you handy with? You certainly don't have the look of a warrior or a knight and I've never seen you with a weapon in hand besides your staff. I don't figure many your age would be seeking out adventure without a trick or 2 up their sleeve." Chuckling at the beastlord the halfling warns, "Sajeek, best be careful my friend. My guess is this old man could wave his hand and render us both helpless, or burn us to cinders." ![]()
Halfling Paladin of Quellious
![]() OK, done and equipped, let me know where I screwed up:) Edit: or not quite ![]()
Halfling Paladin of Quellious
![]() After a few weeks of studying with the clerics, Jinx gathers his companions after supper one night. Taking a deep breath he begins, "I have something to share with you all. Jinx, as some of you may have suspected, is not my real name. The name Jinx was given to me by the Blooded, my former mercenary company. As we were fighting, the dwarves we were fighting against kept muttering about being jinxed because a halfling bested several of them. They immediately began calling me Jinx and I have been known as Jinx ever since."
