Glipplesplech was found in the remote Jungles of the Mwangi by a group of Pharasman pathfinders. His home had been destroyed by a great 'thunderbeast' (T-rex) and young Glipplesplech, barely 5, was the sole survivor.
The Pharasman priests, not being completely heartless, decided to take him in and care for him until they could find an orphanage to drop him off at. However, during their travels, they discovered that the young Grippli had the most extraordinary talent. He could summon strands of ectoplasm seemingly at will, and even at this young age, could occasionally cast spells such as 'disrupt undead.'
The lead pharasman cleric, realizing the potential of the young lad, took this as a sign from Pharasma that he was meant to use his natural talents to fight undead in Pharasma's name. They conveyed Glipplesplech back to Absolom, where they placed him in the hands of the Pharasman Church, who fostered his talents. Before long he was entering the pathfinder society as a 'weapon of pharasma.'
Glipplesplech, having been sheltered most of his life, is still learning about the world, and takes everything in with a quite contemplation. While he is devoted to Pharasma, he does not quite know how he is to fit into the pathinder society, or the world as a whole, and so weighs his options carefully and tries to keep an open mind.
