About Gerard Dessedeaux

Originally born in Galt, Gerard lived with his uncle until they were forced to flee the Red Revolution. Resettling in Egorian, Gerard became an archer and bodyguard to a minor noble house allied with House Thrune. Brought to the Paracountess' attention due to his unusual heritage and enlarged canines, he was persuaded to join the Pathfinder Society to serve as her agent. Over time he has become disillusioned with the Paracountess' true motives. He narrowly survived the Ruins of Bonekeep, carried out unconscious by a comrade's goat animal companion as his party's sole survivor. The animal awakened a dormant magical power in Gerard, and he finds himself led in a new direction by this life-changing event. His first assignment since discovering his newfound arcane abilities included two Pathfinders with bonded animals: Tessara Omelion, an elven witch, and Rowanna Nachtalus, a Chelaxian spellcaster, who showed Gerard the power and potential of his new path.
