Sugass Yinnisse was born, as he playfully calls it, in the heights of the Unquenchable Fires in 4482 AR. He was told by those who still live that the party to celebrate his birth was most joyous and rather exhausting in the Calistria church halls. Though not a cleric himself, he tries to make it a point to make his way back to Kyonin for the birth of any Elves with ties to families that he knows. But that's neither here nor there.

Sugass was a spirited lad, full of youth and vigor even compared to those of his own kind. Like most Elves he was classically trained in the arts of warfare but never found much of a nack for it. His skill with a bow was legendary, he once hit an instructor in the rump some thirty yards away from his target, and from that day he was never allowed to hold another bow. Still, that did not stop the youth from joining in the duties of the young and spending the years coming of age in the Kyonin with his reasonable skill with the crossbow and dagger.

It was close to the coming of age that he spent the last few years of Militia duty at Greengold, where he learned the wonders of the non elven races. So much beauty existed outside the grand city of Kyonin. Once he officially came of age, he requested to be allowed to journey to find the Brightness. He felt that introspection was not the way to experience the true beauty of the world and to find his place amongst the natural world.

But that journey was one filled of Wanderlust and youthful vigor, given the long life he still planned to live it was two centuries before he returned once again to Kyonin. During such time, he traveled around Brevoy and even took a small stent out to Varissia as a Courtesan working through a series of brothels. His reasoning being born to Calistria's beauty, what better way to learn of the other races of the world than to spend time with them, intimately and otherwise.

Through his travels, magic was perhaps the second most beautiful thing he had ever experienced. The power, the allure of it truly showed what bound all life together. He was around one and a quarter centuries old when he heard the 'calling of Neyths'. Gnomish magic, Human magic, Elven Magic, even Drow magic fascinated him. Thus he came back to Kyonin and found himself apprenticed to talented to talented Wizards, three centuries his senior. He studied long and hard.

His affinity, to his surprise, was not to Illusion where imagination can come to life, it was to Evocation. In fact, he had a rather difficult time with Illusion magic despite as hard as he might try to make it work for him. His own revulsion to Necromancy caused him to find the same mental block to the workings of said spells, much to his confusion. It was during this century of instruction under Elven wizards and later even some human wizards that he began to make most of his contacts.

Still, there was only so long that one could stay still and practice the fundamentals. He set out often back and forth between Brevoy during that century to test the limits of his magical learning and to improve in his studies. At one point, he had reached a reasonable height of notoriety for his capability with battle magic. However, the longer he studied such magic, the more forlorn he became. The violence that was best suited to such magics made him look inwards, wondering why it was easier for him to learn magic that was meant for violence and not for beauty.

Around his second century, he gave up learning further in the ways of magic. Finding his capabilities of it too dangerous to continue. This was not his purpose he had begun to think and thus his power began to wain back down. It was only after the fall of the last attempt to conquer the Stolen Lands and the rise of the Stag Lord and his bandit followers that he at last saw a purpose for his capabilities. The beauty of the world wasn't for him to enhance or leave his mark upon it. No, his purpose was to save the beauty of this world from those that would spoil it.

Reaching out to friends and family from Kyonin to Brevoy, he sought a way to find success at weaving his way into the tapestry of life. During this time, he was surprised when a human had requested to become an apprentice of him. He could see the drive in him to protect those he held dear in these darker times and it was this drive that invigorated his own even further. He took the young man under his wing and the two of them learned and pushed the boundaries of their powers together while Sugass waited for the right opportunity to present itself to fulfill what he felt was his destiny.

It was an acquaintance in Edran Hull that had heard the talk of charters and an expedition back into the Stolen Lands once again. Sadly the news took quite some time to make it to Sugass' ears and even then he had to take the time to gather his things and make ready for the long journey and the trials that may lay before him and his apprentice. Still, he took as much haste as he felt he could afford and eventually made his way to Oleg's Trading Post, one of the few places actually surviving in the dangers of the Stolen Lands.

Sugass' look A little over six feet in height and surprisingly feminine in look, there have been a few mistakes made by clients in the past of his gender.
