A few months back, I reported a few errors with online reporting of a few events I played but to this day they still haven't been fixed. Are these even being looked at by anyone?

The StarFinder FAQ could be a bit easier to find. Finally found it through the StarFinder rules forums (it's at http://paizo.com/starfinder/faq if anyone else is trying to find it). It is not is not even listed in the More FAQs side bar when looking at other FAQs. Even a Google search failed to reveal where it was.

Actually doing some checking and it appears errata is listed on relevant product pages if applicable, the FAQs aren't. This would be real useful.

Picked up a Bigger Basic map today and judging from the map I got, it appears that folding four layers is a lot rougher on the map than three layers.

Don't know how the specific dimensions of 27" by 39" was come up with, but I think 30" by 40" (or any other multiple of 8") would have worked out a lot better. You could then fold it length wise for three layers then fold it back and forth an arbitrary number of times.

If the 27" by 39" was a magic size for some reason, then rotating the 8" x 10" tiles ( going from 8"+8"+8"+3" by 10"+10"+10"+9" to 10"+10"+7" by 8"+8"+8"+8"+7" would then allow five layers of three layers each and fold much better.

There was a mounted summoner playing in some local games in my area for a while too.

He wasn't using his eidolon as a mount, but was riding a flying bat. Usually for recon or to stay out of trouble, while his pets do the fighting.

Of note - technically that's not PFS legal. Per the PFS rules - you're only ever allowed one animal/pet etc which includes animal companions, eidolons etc. This is to keep the game flow going as they don't want too many extra things on the table.

I just scoured the latest player's guide looking for rule and cannot find it. Is this an actually rule or an unwritten one?

Dusting off my summoner and converting him to unchained, which I bought a riding dog for after the last time I played him.

As far as I can tell, there are no close group slashing weapons. Is there a particular reason for this?

I am currently playing in a Shattered Star campaign and am current in book 4 and there seems to be a fondness for using creatures that cause Confusion. While it is too late for Shattered Star, I do think it was extremely overused in that AP and needs to be dialed back a bit.

Can we search for phrases? I wanted to look through the PRD for spells that might help with will saves. I entered ""will saving throw" (with the quotes like I would do on google) but wound up with a search on each of the words, including variants. I want to be able to search for exact phrases.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Okay, since the art assets and technology is going to have to be developed anyway, any chance of also getting a standalone character designer application that can be used to design character portraits that can be put onto character sheets (or make pawns out of, etc.) out of this?

Just got my Inner Sea World Guide and was wondering something. If the Golarion calander is supposed to track with the real calander with a 2700 year bias, why are leaps years 8 years apart?

I am running a group of people through Kingmaker and they will be starting their kingdom soon. Looking through the kingdom rules, there doesn't seem to be any provision for paying salaries to the people in leadership positions except for the general money withdrawal mechanism which comes with an unrest impact. I am thinking of adding something but not sure what a good amount would be for various kingdom sizes would be. Any suggestions?
