About Gentleman Jack Oog
In a sense, Gentleman Jack Oog is an experiment gone awry. Discovered as a young, violent Kellid orphan, the child eventually known as Jack Oog was raised by Abadaran priests to be a consummate gentleman, despite clearly preferring brawn over scholarship. Jack's simple Common vocabulary is made up almost entirely of politely spoken words and phrases like "indeed," "quite," and "eh wot?", but their well-timed delivery has proven surprisingly effective in diplomatic negotiations (even if Jack himself has no idea what the negotiations are about). Outside of the conversational arena and within the more standard arenas, Gentleman Jack Oog's collection of ancient bronze weaponry (and passion for hurling said weaponry into the flesh of his enemies) has made him a popular if unconventional ally in Pathfinder missions involving strength, agility, and oxymoronic "bone-headed brilliance". Jack has "debated" philosophy with scholars, slain goblins and demons alike, and often done both in the same mission. Jack's willingness to pass on the heroic accolades with a simple "but of course, my dear chap" further cements his place as a solid ally to have at the average Pathfinder's side.
Alas, over a year ago the gentleman barbarian disappeared from the Grand Lodge in Absalom and has so far proved impossible to locate. Some believe he returned to his people to claim a long-lost birthright. Some instead claim he finally met a foe who could not be stopped with polite nothings or twelve pounds of hurled bronze. Other believe he simply got lost. But all are certain in some way, shape, or form, The Gentleman will return, and when he does, the drinks (and the bowties) will be on him.
