Liberty's Edge 1/5

Wow, that is an amazing growth over such short time! Did you have to train and recruit new game masters or did you have enough experienced GMs available?

I can explain this with some detail.

When we started to work on our events, we decided that we should have at least 7-8 GM's that can work as PFS GM's. The names of these people are given in the blog post. In this group, some of us started GM'ing with Pathfinder Society, some of us (like me) coverted from other systems or settings but have quite an experience and at last some of us were already a Pathfinder GM.

Before the launch, we worked as a group to increase everyone's GM'ing ability, to a same - minimum level. Can was the main mentor for this issue, because he is the one who was playing Pathfinder, when we don't even know it.

After the launch, we have stabilized 7-8 tables for our events because of this workout. Also, in last 2 events and some daily rpg events (2 table at max PFS gaming days - we have done a few so far), a few experienced GM's started to GM PFS tables. These new GM's will help us a lot in the future.

Right now, we will have our 4th organized event at 16th of september. We have 6 tables with 6 players already registered and I think we can also fill at least 2 more tables, but we are lacking GM's because of personal life issues.

In my opinion, we did the right thing for delaying our launch for like 1-1.5 month. With this, we have achieved at least a good core and worked around that.

As far as I know only, dnd 3rd edition core rulebook translated to Turkish.

Liberty's Edge 1/5

Actually less than 3 months, we were working for our launch at July 1:)

Liberty's Edge 1/5

Before launching our events, we secretly worked on our stuff. Like the logo, handouts and event place. We have talked with several stores and cafe but at the end we started our events in Old library at Istanbul Technical University. Which is quite a big place that can hold an entire convention with 40-50 tables at once.

I hope that after 16th our numbers will be grown just a little bit more :)

Liberty's Edge 1/5

I hope it will in the future, but right now it is not published in Turkish. Not sure about Arabic.

Just 1 level oracle and than I will be on the road of inquisitor again

Liberty's Edge

Right now, I am sure that sticking with inquisitor will pay itself but I am just thinking as a background wise of the character. So that I have decided to get ancestors oracle :) With tongues + celestial tongue... With this issue, I am sure that characteristics of this inquisitor will pass beyond the regular inquisitor:)

Hey all,

I am from Turkey and we are having PFS in Turkey for a month so far. I have reached Level 3 right today with a crypt of the everflame module.

I am interested to ask about what is a good progress for a cheliax born, human Inquisitor of Milani. Because of my families issues with bellflower organization and their death in public, I am full of wrath who is behaving wrong to my allies or the defendless people. Because of that I am interested in getting a barbarian multi class option for my Inquisitor as 3rd character level. Or I will keep going on the Inquisition (Liberation domain)

I need some opinions and help for this issue.

Liberty's Edge

First death from our Second Darkness Campaign from Turkey is happened last week.

Name: Mihawk Kieldor
Class / Level: Rogue / 3 (just a tip away from 4)
Dead at Children of the Void, Witchlight Tower

Spoiler:

He is managed to save one of the cyphermages who are at 2nd floor but the rolling effects was not on his side. This bad luck resulted him being unconscious when the tower hit the sea. Also he had the "Void Dead" poison. He couldn't survived the crash of tower.

RIP...

Wow Awesome!

Next time I am visiting my Wife's Family in Turkey maybe I can find a PFS game!

Hoşgeldiniz!

Our first official PFS game will be on tuesday (15/05/2012), and this little step that we take for increasing our pathfinder players let us have this oppurtunity.

I am sure when you visit Turkey next time, you will have a chance for either finding a PFS game or anyone who are interested to talk about something related to Pathfinder. :)

Good evening from Turkey!

Thanks for the warm welcome. We are very glad to be a part of this community.

I am sure that Can will briefly explain what our motives are and what kind of strategies that we follow for our country.
