Fox gives Dendar a wholly flat look, grimacing at his lanky and pale skin.

"...put some clothes on man..." she demands after a second, looking back down at her paper before looking back up at the group, specifically Tether. "you can eat now if you wish, but don't wait around, the longer you wait the harder this will be."

She hands Turt the paper, who looks down at it in some confusion. "Take this to Law" she orders, but in a gentler way then she does with anyone else. When Turt walks off, she crosses her arms and stares back at the gathered group.

"Any more questions?"

"No, none that I know of, which means I'm going to instead send you to the guy Minato got the damn thing off of" She explains, lifting a of paper off the ground that must have gotten blown off from its stand during the attack. She straightens it a little before also pulling out a quill and starting to write. "once Minato is healed up, I want you to head with him to check this out. The good doctor should have some clue about what kind of unsavory people wanted the book."

"Well then...I don't know if I'm supposed to be angry or insulted that that's all they wanted..." Fox admits, though her face is clearly growing angrier by the second. She offers the owlbear a glance at his suggestion, mulling it over in her head.

Slowly, she shakes her head.

"No, I'll have Naruto do that, what I want you guy's to do is to find out what you can about this cult, I'm f$!!ing livid they had the balls to attack my home...so I want you to rip those balls off."

At Dendars recollection, Fox frowns at him
"that's because your a druid Dendar, the book hates nature based magic remember?"

"They did it for that smelly old thing....?" She asks, calming down and now just surprised at this revelation. "...are you sure it wasn't just a...cover up or something? We got way more dangerous tomes here..."

"My library just got attacked and my workers hurt, should I really be that concerned about food right now??" Fox asks Tether incredulously, motioning to the destruction to the main floor of the library. As well as Minato, who's groaning on the table as Necro mercilessly starts snapping his ribs back into place with some magic they don't know.

"I heard the leader all the way over where I was fighting, who was he? I need all the info you can give me, what did he want??"

"..." Fox frowns at the current conversation.

Eye's darting to each speaker as they take turns taking her attention, Fox sighs and removes her sun hat. Her hands slide up her face and begin undoing the high bun she put her hair into.

"....yeah you passed she decides, pulling a pin out of her bun and shaking her head to free her hair. "Good job, I fully expected Law to be missing an arm or something

She gets up from her chair and crosses her arms under her bust, the serious look she is giving the group doesn't fit with the green dress she is in. "Law, head on down to the basement and start the core transfer, ask Turt to help you, Bes can....do whatever it is she does" she say's dismissively.

Law grunts again, readjusting his grip on the chest. The woman on top only ruffling his hair again before he starts to trudge to the main desk where Turt watches the proceedings curiously. Fox then turns back to the three newcomers. "You three, welcome aboard to Legends fall, though next time I don't care if you literally have noodles for arms, help a teammate if their struggling, understand?"

Legends Fall is now open to you, you will find some spare rooms on the second floor if you want, they're pretty bare, but clean. The better rooms are higher, only I, Turt, and Minato currently live on the 4th floor. Prove yourself and your positions here will rise...along with your pay"

"You're back" Fox calls out from behind a side desk that flanks the entrance. She's not in her armor, now dressed in a very flattering green sun-dress and wide brimmed hat. Her eye's seeing the struggling and red faced Law, who's trembling after a hour long walk carrying the huge chest.

Bes rubs her foot through the armorless man's hair and waves at Fox, who pays her no mind for the moment.

"Law, glad to have you back..." She starts, before looking at Leo, Red, Dendar and Tether and frowning, not amused. "...nobody offered to help him?"

Fox contemplates murder

"...That's not a bad idea actually, Dendar, you and owl-bearto can lead them to the docks then" she suddenly decides, twirling on he heals and walking back up the stair's, waving over her shoulder.

"Just tell him i sent you, Law has a uncanny ability to detect lies, even Naruto can't lie to him, and he's probably the best showboated in this group." Fox say's with no worry, assured he would be able to tell in a instant.

"...also, second objective, just as important as the other one, Law has a dodging problem, and has a very common tendency to take allot of damage to his body with not much care. make sure he doesn't kill himself in a stupid way yeah? i'll even throw in a 600 gold bonus on top of this job pay if he get's here alive"

"This seem's simple, and hopefully it is, but i'm too pragmatic to believe it will. Boss Croat's has been a annoyance on my deliveries lately, and i wouldn't put it past him to have his gang be there waiting to ambush Law" She explains, her face twisting into a disgusted snarl at the mention of Croat's name. "Law is tough, but he's never been the greatest at fighting multiple people by himself, especially when guarding the cargo"

"That bastard Rape Baby Croat is one of the cities eight lords, he sees himself as a surveyor of fine goods. But is actually just a Fat and Lazy Half-Orc man who takes whatever he thinks is valuable when it comes to trade. He was one of the first of the Crime-lords to attempt to get my library under his thumb. His people even still feed Boeing daily...that man he ate was probably another of his flunkies."

Fox huff's, her patience lasting no longer. Clearly just wanting to get this over with at this point, the elf hand's spread the scroll over the table, showing it to be a map of the city. Her nail stabs down at a section of the city marked the dock district.

"One of my guy's is due back on his ship today in a few hour's. I sent him out a few weeks ago to get something one of my other employee's deathly needed. he's running out of time, but Law has never failed me before, so i have no reason to think he will now" The Elf explains, looking back up at them, anger fading once more. "He captains a ship on the side, The Bloody Nora, it should be docking today as i said before. All i need you to do...is to meet him when he docks, and make sure he and the package arrive safely."

"do you think I would let you in here if you're useless to me? this is a simple job, are you telling me that a little danger is to much for you?" Fox asks sharply, her tongue a knife stabbing at unguarded points in Tether's question, her eyes narrowed. Those same green eye's stare at Red, and then the walking away Leo.

"...I didn't mean do it now" She say's to the moving elf, Patience waning.

"so, i have a job lined up for you, complete it and you'll have a place here, fail...and well you'll probably be dead"

"Your seniors, technically everyone here is your Senior, introduce yourself to them whenever you get the chance, it's good to mingle" Fox explains, hands digging into a pouch on her chest and pulling a small scroll free. "But, before I officially hire you, I need to know that you can do this kind of work...

She does't SEEM to catch onto his thoughts...or maybe she's just filing away his greed for later. Either way, her attention is taken by Tether's exclamation.

"I mean when you go from being a maid to a gangster for a library, i guess it might be a big job..." she agrees after a moment. "Turt and Minato get paid the most as they've shown themselves to be the most reliable people i have here, maybe you will get to their level at some point eh?

Fox sniff's at the answer's given, not understanding the happy reactions they are giving at the pay.

"...400 isn't really that much..."

"so...is that a yes...?"

"I just said the bonuses..."

"like, we have free healthcare, all inclusive besides death. You get paied weekly, as well as a bonus for each assignment you can complete for me. The pay is 400 gold a week, with the bonus being whatever i really feel like giving at the time"

Fox clearly ignores the fact that Dendar is still not doing something productive with his time for the moment, having bigger fish to fry.

"....really? You agree just like that? I haven't even got to the bonuses...? she mutters, rubbing her left eyebrow in confusion.

"Everyone here can fight, and they fight very well, it's the only reason the crimelords haven't come here and taken everything i have...so you WILL fight too, if you want this job, that's nonnegotiable."

Fox's smile fades into a stoic line, Leo's attempt to focus back on the issue at hand working perfectly. Letting out a sharp breath from her nostrils, the Blonde Rogue rolls her shoulders before finding the time to respond.

"besides the general odds and ends that I need dealt with here, there are also my operations outside to take into account. I have multiple businesses in this town, and im not well liked by any of the local crimelords. So if you expect this job to be easy, you're sadly mistaken"

Her eye's narrow as she speaks, annoyance growing by raven speaking of this.

"I do not pay tribute to these men and woman, and i refuse to, they are dust beneath my boots and aren't worth my time. However they seem seem to not like that very much. I'm constantly protecting my investment in this city and the overlord just turns a blind eye...stupid cuck that he is"

"...though I'm almost certain Boeing knew what the man was doing, he prefers to play with his prey, probably wanted to let the man think he was going to get away...?

"If I had to ask Boeing and the others to make the trip from the Iron king mountains, all the way to Riddleport to protect my building, how often do you think it happens?" She deadpans, flinking some hair out of her eye's with a frown. "this city is full of despots and criminals, the leaders are just elected gang leaders, and me owning a solid gold building makes me a obvious target for the desperate...."

Taking a moment to fondly look out the window next to the entrance, she offers a kind smile to the Ent, who is currently looking through as well at all of you, as if daring you to do something bad.

"don't worry Ms..or Mr?...Red, don't worry about them, as long as you don't steal from me, Boeing and the others won't touch you, infact they are very good at kind conversation I'll have you know. I trust those Treant's with my life, for I've known them since childhood."

Taking another deep breath, Fox manages to seemingly calm herself down some-more, to the point where she can awnser questions. Tether seemed to have the most of them, so she focuses on her.

"Well, to awnser your questions, you would he doing normal library activities. Things like organizing the shelf's. Cleaning the place as well. Definitely helping with the buildings upkeep and safety." she say's all of this with a straight face, eyes unblinking in their intensity. "riddleport is a dangerous place however, so tgere is going to be quite a few times where I will have to send you out on jobs outside the scope of this library.

"....and yes, I see you all met Boeing, he's a nice guy isn't he?" she adds, a small smirk appearing on her face at Tethers expression. "He's a very nice Treant, nicer then the other 19, he even lets the kids play in his branches, but his job is to defend the riches of the library...I assume you saw someone trying to steal from the wall...?"

"yes, you, I do not know your names yet so forgive me if i forget" she say's, obviously gathering her thoughts before shaking Leo's hand slowly. Her almond shaped eyes then turn to Tether, waiting for her to finish speaking. all the while, her hand strokes the owlbears feather's.

once Dendar is properly cowed the elf takes a second to calm herself down a little. Once her twitching stops, Fox turns back to the gathered job seeker's with a flat look on her face. Any positivity she had has been sucked straight out by that exchange, now she just looks tired...

"...sorry about that...

Fox take's in a sharp breath, green eye's glaring heavily at the elf, luckily missing owlbearto. Her eye's slowly look over at Leo in a bit of surprise at his outburst. before she can respond she's cute off again when Tether wails, causing her surprised to once again quickly shift to sheer annoyance that she's struggling to rein in.

"...Dendar...Do your job, before I strangle you...again...!" She SEETHES, almost hissing at the bathrobe man, pointing at the poster that has the decimal system, just for him. "NOW!"

Fox enter's Dendar's room silently, wincing at the musk filled basement that is his base. Eyes darting this way and that, the elf pause's and see's her quarry resting in his bed along with his owlbear. rolling her eye's, she skulks away.

"he needs to clean this place up..." she thinks irritably
