About Foddertooth "Blazing Plank"

Story:

"Ye want know 'bout Foddertooth? I tell ye 'bout Foddertooth. Five gold pieces and Foddertooth no burn ye when he done." He puts the shillings between his teeth and gives it a good yank, ensuring it has the distinct pliability of gold. "Good. Now sit, drink, listen. When Foddertooth very young, five or six, other goblins made great fun o' Foddertooth's big ears. Foddertooth no like bein' teased. One day, Foddertooth grab torch and beat other goblins who tease him. He liked fire, liked th' way it made goblins howl. Soon Foddertooth had great respect. For while, Foddertooth named Firetooth because he burn anyone who insult him. But when band o' pirates come, everyone forget that. Everyone die, except Foddertooth. Pirate cap'n chose t' keep Foddertooth as pet, said last pet shot by six pounder in big ship battle. Now Foddertooth ten years old, and serve cap'n as slave. But it not so bad. Foddertooth never was teased or cap'n keelhaul stupid scallywags. The cap'n start t' like Foddertooth, said he better than monkey 'n gave more privileges. Durin' ship battles, he let Foddertooth join th' fight by settin' fire t' anyone boarded the ship. Th' crew got scared 'o him. Just like th' other goblins. But big ears come in handy. When th' crew was whisperin' 'bout throwin' Foddertooth overboard, he struck first. Foddertooth made bombs from gunpowder. Then he burned th' swabby's cabin first. Wit' bombs, no one defied Foddertooth. He set fire to th' plank 'n made 'em walk through. When only th' cap'n left, he chained his pegleg so he be slower 'n feel th' fire. Soon all th' pirates in ocean. But Foddertooth not be knowin' how to steer ship. So it was crashin' into rocks 'n Foddertooth swim here. Now he drink 'til he find ship 'n crew 'n become his own scurvy-gummed pirate cap'n. Cap'n Blazin' Plank!"
