”I am not about to make a habit of breaking and entering people’s houses. Let me think for a second.” Florin paces and strokes his beard. "lets scout the perimeter to find a discrete form of entry. If that fails we could just knock. Or more specifically the pretty, young, innocent girl lost and alone whilst two madly in love men duel one another for her attention, could knock.” Florin brightens with the idea. ”yes this could work. Vulf how are you acting skills? I need you to look like an angry man vying for the love of a young lady. Perfect! Rohan you will play our other antagonist. Now I need a young attractive woman to play the hapless maiden in our story. Zelaria... do you think father Dorrak will fit in you dress? Ah ha I jest but do you believe you are up to the part? I need you to draw the man who answers away from the door way for enough time that I can sneak pat him. Florin looks genuinely pleased with himself ”well what do you all think?” so to clarify Zelaria will knock on the door flustered and preferably showing a little flesh she will ask the man, woman or whatever answers the door to help her quickly explaining that vulf and Rohan have engaged in a Duel to the death over who gets to De-flower her or somthing. In the meantime florin will cast vanish and rush through the opening in the door. Dorrak will aid the ilusion by tring to part the two futily It’s just crazy enough to work

Either way I will be happy to take questions as to the nature of our actions today once we have established the truth in the rumours we have received. Once again I thank you all for your stoic resolution in these troubled times and request any and all suspicious occurrences are to be reported to ourselves or the other deputies. Until then I would ask all of you to move on from here and go about your business.”

Ah your only nervous because you woke up with Florin. You wouldn’t be like this if you had woken next to Dorrak or Vulf. Florin wakes when Rohan rises. “Urgh my head. Get me an alchemist tonic quick.” Florin rises and splashes water over his face and in his mouth. “You know Rohan We really need to find you a good woman, I can’t have you sharing my bed on a regular basis people will talk.” Florin examines his face and chest in the mirror “What is this? Did you bite me?” As Rohan shows florin the note Florin waves it aside impatiently ”yes, yes, all in good time I will study the script, if you would be so kind to have some coffee sent up.” Linguistics:1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16 I’ll take 20 if I’m allowed or use the roll if not.

Do you know what I love about this video is that the Bassist makes loads of effort to climb through the roof and the then in the next scene the drummer just walks round the front. And yeah ditto, on reflection to contradict Randy ‘The Ram’ Robinson. The 90’s did not suck. And Spiderwebs was my fave though im a big SKA fan.

Well perhaps you fine people have heard of the Varisian vampires. Only few people have seen their caravan and lived to tell of it. And you are fortunate enough to be in the company of one now. Let me start if I may with how the thrice damned carnival of undeath and pestilence came into being. A long time ago, longer than any dragons’ lifespan. There was a woman called Countess Isabella Werner, a noble who’s father lay on his death bed, since Isabella had not wed the line of succession would go to her uncle the evil lord Caiaphas Werner. Isabella preyed to any god to deliver the succession back to her. And at that point there was a thunderous boom at the castle gates. Florin knocks on the table for impact. ”A man clad in blood red plate strode into the dying counts bedchamber, Isabella fell on her knees before the stranger begging him to marry her. To which the man agreed. As you can imagine this did not sit well with Caiaphas who drew his sword and charged the stranger. Whist in the midst of their fist wedded kiss Isabella’s new husband tore the head from the shoulders of the evil Caiaphas with a back hand flick of his hand. Gore pooled around the newlyweds feet as the man introduced himself as Manfred Weiss. Shall I continue?”

I was collecting 500yards of canvas for my father, at a very reasonable price I might add, when the merchant ship I was on was attacked. Now I was thinking ‘Why would a Shackles ship be this far north of Garund.” Any way we stood to quarters and I had taken my beloved aboard to show her the sea view I was to propose to her upon completion of my transaction with the merchants and I had this ring with a jewel the size of a sword pommel. So we stood to quarters, and the two ships circled each other firing bolts and arrows at each other, the man next to me he was struck in the neck and toppled into the water. Now looking down I saw the sea was thick with sharks as if Besmara herself was below the depths.” oh wise DM grant me a RP bonus on my perform for my storytelling. (shameless flattery check)

”yarning?” Florin asks. He seems a little distracted and his skin has paled a shade as he stares from Dorrak to the foul smelling mug and back again. Absently gulping the Dragon punch again his is immediately recalled to the bar as he again almost falls over. Florin turns to face Shalelu the drink affecting his restraint. ”Let me tell you those tales are all false!... Florin walks quickly down the street until he reaches Vin Vinder’s general store. He stops outside and composes himself before entering. If Vin is present. Also consider this the default rhetoric. ”Ah good day sir Vinder and how are you?... My name is Florin Du Poisse you may have heard that I was part of a group that helped defend the town against the Goblins a few nights past. I am calling because as you may have heard there was an attack on one of the townspeople this very day. Now there is no cause for alarm but in these times the whole town must unite and be extra vigilant to prevent further loss of life. If you do see or hear anything suspicious please don’t hesitate to call for either myself or one of my companions. Sheriff Hemlock is leaving the village for Magnimar to enlist help from the garrison there. Whilst he is away myself and my companions have been employed to assist the watch in safe keeping the town. Have you seen anything out of the ordinary?” For Shayliss ”Ah my sweet I’m glad I found you. Alergast has been attacked and tragically lost his life. It turns out that a goblin was hiding under his floorboards. Have you been alright?”Florin will stay with her for a time making small talk ”I have dinner with the mayor this evening but as soon as I am able I will return to you.”

I would like to express interest in CC however my GF would like a place in a PBP she has played before but never in a PBP so I am obliged to ask on her behalf first. I'm happy to let her take the place if offered but if you could find one for me also that would be amazing. Also I would like to talk to Shayliss and her dad and I can draft a generic “to shopkeeper x” rhetoric. One more thing all this money giving is making florin feel all philanthropic but he would not just give money so would it be over stepping reasonable backstory flavour to give them a contact for a job (for the boy) with a Stable master/horse trader in Magnimar. We can say that he has sold the Du Poisse family horses for many years.

Florin turns to Shalelu and gives his customary elaborate bow kissing her hand he says. Florin Du Poisse at your service good lady Androsana, how charmed I am to make your acquaintance. Now standing upright he catches the coin purse and finishes listening to the sheriff speak. ” Our thanks for the reward, we shall see that is re-invested into the towns infrastructure. Oh wow small world eh. I’m sorry Vulf didn’t know I might have been more tactful had I known it was you. Alex Kilcoyne is a friend of mine IRL and Aaron the DM is an acquaintance let’s just leave it at that. So back on topic I saw the outcome and wished to avoid any conflict in this game (*epic fail*). With that in mind you and Zelaria feel strongly about this and I’m happy to bow to group consensus as a player. Florin being a studious and Pedantic man might wish to see the loot distributed fairly but also being a Follower of Abadar won’t turn down the extra wealth.

Silently, Florin gathers the sheets off the bed and covers the small body of the child, tenderly wrapping the still warm corpse. Still in silence he gently picks up the boy in both arms and walks out of the room and then out of the house. Outside he carefully lays the bundle of sheets on the ground, near the feet of the mother. Then, in a voice devoid of its usual cheer, he says.“I’m truly sorry we were too late. Not fussed either way so long as it’s fair to all. In my games XP is always shared equally regardless of who did it. This leads on to the obvious elephant in the room Party loot. I’ve recently seen a PBP lose 2 players (by DM dismissal) due to this subject. So how we gunna do it? I prefer the method accumulating selling price the haul and dividing it equally, then everyone has a budget to spend if a player wants one of the items in the pot they buy it at the price the item would have sold for. Finally we should have an amout of GP which is split and that becomes the characters. Slightly complex but works out the fairest. Variants to this method are:
Dividing the consumables before adding the pot together. Crafted items are paid for at cost price + a fair contribution (if required) for the time spent crafting.
Feedback and/or suggestions please.

Florin Dialog cont. Rohan and Copper:
”As you wish. I am most curious about the history and cultures of the Island. I would truly love to learn more in time.” Vulf:
”Shayliss. Ah she is a wonderful enigma wrapped in a beautiful riddle wearing a dress. If I live to see a thousand years I will never understand women. But I digress, between us men things go well indeed but alas there in lies my problem. I’m sure that to your pragmatic way of life and love it might seem perfectly absurd but we cannot make our feelings publicly known. The reason for this is twofold; I do not want this relationship ,a thing of beauty and purity, to be sullied by idle tavern gossip. However most problematic is the difference in our relative social class. My father it a traditionalist and would not understand. To him status comes before love.” Dorrak:
”Thank you father for your learned council I feel less burdened now perhaps I just needed to talk to someone regarding this.” Zelaria: ”Thank you for being so candid with your words. Truly I respect your opinion greatly and welcome your empathic feeling for my well being , however I am a great believer in fate and destiny and what will happen will happen for good or ill, our only hope is to cherish the journey, a sentiment Im sure you can relate to. Till that point I remain your friend and devoted servant.”

Know Nobility (Aldern Foxglove) 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12 Florin meets with the party regularly at meals or to relax he is disappointed that they did not take Aldern up on his offer to go on a hunt but understands the reasons for their decision and maintains his good cheer always. At the dinner Florin somewhat dominates the conversation with Aldern talking of hunting, riding, of dogs and extravagant feasts. Drinking late into the evening and leaving a little worse for wear in the morning. When not with his new friends Florin is with Shayliss the double life is difficult to hide but by a miracle no one finds out about the young nobles midnight excursions. Florin is besotted with the strong minded merchants daughter. Florin also finds time to send a correspondent home to his father to keep him updated of his adventures: Florin’s letter:
Dearest father.
I hope this letter finds you and mother well. I for my part have been having a great adventure. My travels have taken me to the town of Sandpoint. Where in I was fortunate enough to attend a festival. I engaged in a duelling competition alas I did not win though I maintained the honour of the Du Poisse family and fought with skill. However it was in the evening that I was truly tested a group of goblins beset the town. I along with some fine people I am happy to call friends defended the town protecting the food stores from multiple attacks. Eventually we triumphed and the whole town was grateful, so much so that we were made honorary deputies. I have also met a fine gentleman by the name of Aldern Foxglove I have invited him as my guest when next we host a hunt. I look forwards to hearing of how you and mother are fairing Your devoted son. Florin. Florin also finds time to visit the shrine to Abadar and prey for his good fortune and the continued fortunes of him his companions and of Shayliss and her Father. Dialog with party Dorrak:
”Good sir Dorrak, I seek your council as a friend but also as the wisest man I know when we were fighting the goblins I felt remorse for them I have never killed a sentient creature before and whist I know that what we did was for the good of the town it still pains me to end the life of another creature. Perhaps you of all people could set my mind at ease for I know you have no love for the creatures.” Vulf:
”You seem quiet around me Vulf I hope that you do not hold a grudge over our first meeting.” Zelaria:
”Thank you for speaking to Shayliss for me. I get the impression you think me a fool have I done something to offend you? I have also noticed that you spurn the advances of sir Foxglove would you like me to explain to him that you are taken? I speak fluent noble fool.” Rohan & Copper:
“You are from Hermea yes I have read little about the place please could you both give me your opinions? I would dearly like to know more.” And so it is that Dorrak comes across Florin bleary eyed and yawning walking back to the rusty dragon after spending the night with Shayliss. ”Morning Father how are… oh oh yes quite lead the way.”

It is with a heavy heart that I must leave you in this manner however I think that my introduction to your father should be under more formal circumstances our time together this day has stolen my heart. I look forwards to seeing you again soon. I shall stop by the shop on the morrow. Till then I will be your obedient servant Your Knight of Flowers Florin Du Poisse. Florin then seals the letter with wax and addresses it to Shyliss.

Florin Catchup Florin watches anxiously on as the two ladies talk but as Zelaria walks back it becomes obvious that he is going to be none the wiser as to the girls name. ”My sincerest apologies Rohan but I fear I am to take this walk alone however I promise I will lay the groundwork for next time.” Florin gulps down his ale and walks over to the anonymous lady. Fixing his smile he casually drops his arms behind his back grabbing his index and middle finger, bringing his chin up high and rolling is shoulders back. ”M’lady, alas I have failed in both of your tasks what with all the excitement last night I could not learn your name. However I shall call you the sun for to compare you to anything less radiant would be doing you a disservice. So my solar prey what is your name?”

I would be indebted to you if could reveal her name.” pulling away sharply Florin grasps Vulf’s hand and shakes it winking at him playfully. “ah ha Vulf my good man all this new found fame eh? Let me not see your eye stray to one of these other wenches you have the attention of the finest jewel in the village.” clasping Rohan by the shoulder Florin states ”I would offer to buy you all a drink but these fine people won’t let me pay for it. Rohan my lady might have a friend that you could meet. Either way come with me to talk to her provide me moral support eh. inclining his head to copper florin says You my small friend seem to have enough attention already I wouldn’t have it go to your head.” florin bursts into laughter.

After he has finished Florin will excuse himself and finish his morning routine after a thorough wash and a shave Florin polishes and dons his armour his gorget is still bent out of shape and hangs loosely around his neck. Florin strides down to the bar to find the lunch time rush just beginning. In the short distance from the stairs to the bar Florin shakes hands with numerous men and bows to a few ladies. From the shadows they came rushing, a horde of maniacally grinning devils armed with sharpened pieces of filth encrusted pig iron. Not one of us showed fear for the beasts for we worked for a higher purpose." Florin is a man of honour and not about to steal another man’s wife/girlfriend/wench. That would be far too much effort and a trifle caddish. To be fair I’m still not sure if Florin doesn’t you know enjoy 'all' life has to offer (wink, wink.) So in that respect Copper is the only safe one. (and probably Dorrak unless he’s had a few drinks.)
