I would definitely join this chartered company. I'm guessing this is a joke, if so, its the funniest post on this entire forum. well done sir. If not I totally want in.

Anyone with the daily deals want to trade a shieldmate for my miniatures? Or money or something? I'd be happy to work something out.

You don't think they might lose more if they tried to take the daily deals away from people and force them to pay extra for them at such a late date?

Who said anything about taking anything away from anyone? That would be asinine. Just make an addon for those people who would rather pay for the daily deals than mooch off of strangers. I'm referring to the shield buddy swapping going on not the daily deals people already are receiving.

I've been holding off posting this thread in the hopes that someone would come to their senses but with less than 48 hours to go I'm rapidly losing hope. Why on earth are you giving away all the daily deals for free instead of making it an an addon? I'd be more than willing to pay for the ones I've missed but I'm certainly not going to go begging on the forums for someone else's hand me downs. I understand the intention was to have people recruit new pledges but clearly this isn't what's happening. Let's stop screwing around, start charging for the daily deals and put this kickstarter to rest successfully.

I've seen a lot of hemming and hawing about trivial things like the game engine, combat mechanics and what operating systems the game will run on but there's still no definitive answer to the question on everyone's lips.

Will there be riding dogs?

There is no question that there is a finite amount of time and resources GW has to allocate to different aspects of this game. Does anyone feel this would be a good use of that time? What does this add but another layer of bookkeeping? Why stop at eating, how about sharpening your sword, resoling your boots, measuring out the precise amounts of spell components? The sky is the limit as far as tacking on the tiresome minutia of everyday life but is creating coding and implementing a system to manually saddle your horse going to make this game more fun? It damn sure isn't going to make the game more money, I'll promise you that.

Edit - Bladder Meter, thats genius Keovar! Now we just have to figure out if the buff from drinking coffee is worth the hit to our bladder timer. This is exactly the sort of edge of your seat excitement that sells games!

If it were up to me it would be buffs for eating/drinking but no penalties for not. Imho managing food and drink is more of a chore than a feature.

The very first online game I ever played was a MUD. Most of the good items only dropped a limited number of times, typically 1-5, before it was no longer possible for anymore to drop. The only way to get a new one was for someone else to give up theirs. In every game I've played since that would have meant a mad scramble to horde as much as possible and then lord it over everyone else for the life of the game but in that game upon upgrading anything the vast majority of people would just leave their old hand me downs in common areas for anyone to pick up. Low level gear and training was also very expensive. It was common for people to put together a set of great (and expensive) set of gear ideal for the class left at the class trainer. That was the only game I ever played where common courtesy and mutual respect was the norm rather than the exception.

Wonderful, thank you for the quick response.

I apologize if this has been addressed already but I haven't been able to find anything regarding the specifics of purchasing the addons. Currently I am pledged at 110 dollars. I have selected the crowdforger pioneer reward but I also want to buy the title. Is there a separate option that must be selected now or do I just go $10 over the normal contribution level and it gets sorted out later? Thank you in advance.

How about an appearance tab? Just a second character sheet solely for cosmetic only gear? I don't know about anyone else but for me being able to choose exactly how my guy looks without gimping myself would be a huge improvement. I'd definitely pay more for that.

Right on, thanks guys.

Is there a way to add a second kickstarter pledge? I would like to get one for my wife as well. Thank you in advance.

Wow, Dust 514 looks amazing. I might have to go pick up a ps3.

We've got a bit of a wait ahead of us, what are you playing to while away the days (years >.<) until PFO arrives to deliver us from boredom?

Goblin Squad Member

If theres any justice in this world someday I'll be able to play as a ratfolk. Until that day comes probably a halfling paladin. I'm a sucker for a riding dog!

Why did you fund your pledge?

Because if this game is half as good as a pen and paper rpg without the need to coordinate everyone's schedule irl it'll be worth twice what I paid. 10 times if you can actually customize your guy as much as you can on paper.
