Background:
Grew up in San Francisco. Faith's father was 2nd generation Japanese American; her mother was half Latina (Brazilian), half Native American (Kurok tribe of Northern California). Faith was raised in San Francisco where her father worked in Silicon Valley and her mother was a graphic designer. Growing up, Faith was exposed to Japanese, Hispanic, and Native American cultures. She had relatives who told her folk-tales and some even described shamans and priests who had magical powers. She never put much stock in those tales until later in life.

She excelled in sports of all kinds, was an alternate for the U.S. gymnastics team in 2000 Olympics, competed in the 2006 Winter Olympics as a biathlete, competed in body building contests, and raced rally cars, motor boats, and planes. She had a knack for languages and majored in journalism in college, learning a number of languages. Her world travels allowed her to polish those skills. Then in 2010, a close friend was brutally murdered. The case went cold and out of frustration, she trained to be a homicide detective so she could officially work on the case. She discovered the killer, who was a strange shape-shifter of some sort. She killed it, but after it died, it changed back to a normal looking human. Click here for a more detailed account.

An investigation found fault with her handling of the case, so she was busted down to beat cop but quit the force and got a PI license, specializing in weird cases. She took classes in computer programming and began to research occurrences of unexplained deaths.


Appearance:
5'5", black hair, brown eyes, brown complexion, pretty face, ripped physique, buxom, graceful and self-confident in her movement. Hair worn in pony-tail. Tends to wear practical clothes, jeans, t-shirts, sneakers or boots, baseball type cap, sunglasses, and lots of gear.
